On the occasion of the Red Child, Sun Wukong asked Guanyin Bodhisattva for help and borrowed a purification bottle to extinguish the True Fire of Samadhi. Guanyin Bodhisattva readily agreed, but only if Sun Wukong agreed to a condition.
What is this condition? Guanyin Bodhisattva said, "You should leave one thing as collateral, otherwise, in case you borrow it and can't repay it, won't I lose a lot?" ”
Will Sun Wukong really borrow or not repay? Even if he borrowed a thousand guts, he did not dare to take the pure bottle of Guanyin Bodhisattva, after all, he still wore a tight hoop on his head. If he dared to walk the bottle, Guanyin Bodhisattva would not have to come forward to ask for it, as long as he chanted the mantra, Sun Wukong would honestly return the bottle.
But if this is the case, why is Guanyin Bodhisattva still worried about whether Sun Wukong will borrow or not?
Of course, Sun Wukong knew what Guanyin Bodhisattva really thought, but he pretended to be deaf and dumb, and deliberately said, "Poor! Bodhisattvas have such multi-mindedness. You taught me to keep some heads, but what will it be? This cotton cloth on my body is straight, or your old man's home. How much is this tiger skin skirt worth? Sooner or later, this iron rod will have to protect itself. Otherwise, I'll give you this tight hoop, haha. ”
This monkey is quite humorous! Guanyin Bodhisattva cried and laughed, so he had to point out: "I don't want your clothes, iron rods, and golden hoops, but only pluck a life-saving hair on the back of your head and do it with me." ”
Of course, Sun Wukong was unwilling, and he also rightly refused: "This life-saving hair was given to me by your old man's family, why do you have to take it back now?" That's not okay, although you only collect one, but the group is broken, I'm afraid the other two will not work. ”
Guanyin Bodhisattva was not happy, smiled and scolded, "You monkey, you really can't pull out a dime!" ”
As Sun Wukong said, the three life-saving hairs were sent by Guanyin Bodhisattva, so why did Guanyin Bodhisattva want to take them back many times?
Isn't the purpose of Guanyin Bodhisattva's gift to Sun Wukong three life-saving hairs to help him become a fierce ji on the way to collect the scriptures? Why is it that before the great cause of learning is complete, it is in a hurry to take it back?
The truth of the matter is related to sun wukong's words to Guanyin Bodhisattva after subduing the White Dragon Horse.
In the fifteenth time of the original work, Guanyin Bodhisattva subdued The White Dragon Horse and asked him to join the sutra collection team, and Sun Wukong suddenly picked up the pick and pulled Guanyin Bodhisattva and said, "I'm not going!" I'm not going! The western road is so rugged, protect this mortal monk, when will you get it? It seems that such a lot of hardships and many twists and turns, the life of the old grandson is also difficult to complete, how to achieve what results! I'm not going! I'm not going! ”
Sun Wukong said four times in a row, "I'm not going", what else can Guanyin Bodhisattva do? Just like coaxing a child, take some candy to appease him.
And it was the three life-saving hairs that Guanyin Bodhisattva used as candy to appease Sun Wukong. Guanyin Bodhisattva said to Sun Wukong, "If you come to that time of no help and no master, you can respond to changes and save you from the calamity of emergency." ”
Obviously, Guanyin Bodhisattva was not willing to give Sun Wukong a life at first, but forced by Sun Wukong's helplessness to pick a son, he was not allowed to send it. Since it was a last resort, of course she wanted to take it back.
But this also has a problem, the three life-saving hair Guanyin Bodhisattva himself can't use it, so why rush to take it back? Let Sun Wukong continue to use it for a period of time, and after the success of the sutra, can't he take it back?
It should be related to life-saving material. The life-saving milli-hair is not really a milli-hair, but the change of the willow leaf of the Guanyin Bodhisattva's pure bottle, Sun Wukong is worried that the three life-saving milli-hairs will take away one, break the group, and affect the other two, Guanyin Bodhisattva is not worried about the willow leaf pulling away three pieces, but also breaking the group?
Taking a step back, even if it does not break the group, the willow leaf is always the most important "treasure" of Guanyin Bodhisattva, and since it is helpless to change into a hair and give it to Sun Wukong, it is completely reasonable to want to take it back.
