Quint again indie games? Maybe it will be launched this year

CD Projekt Red is working on a new Quint indie game that is expected to launch this year in 2022.

For friends who don't know quint cards, quint cards are a mini-game in THE WITCHER 3 of CD Projekt Red. Players can earn rare cards by defeating their opponents. Because many players find this mini-game interesting, whenever "The Witcher 3" is mentioned, many players will jokingly call "Geralt is the king of the northern cards", "it is important to find a daughter or something", and so on.

In fact, CD Projekt Red has also launched an independent quint game after knowing that quint cards are so popular with players, but for this quint card game codenamed Project Golden Nekker, according to CD Projekt Red, it will be a completely single-player mode, and it will not be the same as the quint game "The Witcher Tales: Thronebreaker" that exists now.

Pawe Burza, Head of Marketing and Communications at Quint Brand, said:

"This game won't be another story about wizards, it's something completely different. Our goal is to provide a captivating Quint experience for those who don't want to play multiplayer. ”

He didn't mention how different the new Quint game was from The Witcher Tales: Thronebreaker, but it looked like the new game would focus on the storyline.

In fact, as early as last December, the code name Project Golden Nekker was briefly mentioned in a Quint roadmap, but there were only some concept drawings and other designs at that time. In the IGN interview, CD Projekt Red also only mentioned that there will be a new barbarian deck, and other things and details are still unknown.
