Among them, "'Nanhai Youli' series of cultural and creative products won the Case of Chinese Culture and Tourism Creative Product Development" and "Nanhai District Dali Town Qingfengling Discovered Ancient Tomb Group" and "Listening to Hongye Talk Series Activities" three major events related to the South China Sea were selected as the 2021 Foshan Cultural and Expo Ten Major Events; "Materials carrying the road - China and Kuwait Intangible Cultural Heritage Digital Exhibition" was selected as the 2021 Foshan Intangible Cultural Heritage Ten Major Events.

The annual selection of ten major events of Foshan Cultural And Intangible Cultural Heritage was launched from 2017 and has been held for five consecutive years, forming a certain popularity in the Foshan cultural and expo circles. In addition, the four major events selected in the South China Sea are rich in types, which reflect the achievements of the development of the South China Sea Culture and Intangible Cultural Heritage last year.
On May 16, 2021, the Nanhai District Museum's "Nanhai Youli" cultural and creative space was officially opened. This year, the "Nanhai Youli" series of cultural and creative products in Nanhai District, Guangdong Province, was selected as the 2021 Chinese Culture and Tourism Creative Product Development Case, which is one of the two projects that represent Guangdong Province to be selected for the 2021 China Tourism Industry Influence Case.

Through government procurement services, holding the "Nanhai Wenbo IP Activation Competition", open and targeted collection, and co-creation and sharing of achievements, Nanhai District jointly launched the Nanhai Wenbo Resource Revitalization Project in April 2020 in conjunction with 10 cultural and expo venues of the "Nanhai District Museum Alliance", entrusted Foshan Luoke Zhongchuang Technology Co., Ltd. to collect Cultural and Creative Design Works from Global Designers, successfully activated a large number of Cultural and Creative IP, and produced more than 100 pieces (sets) of cultural and creative product design results. At present, 40 cultural and creative products have entered the stage of mass production and public sales.
The Nanhai District Museum has also set up a "Nanhai Courtesy" cultural and creative space in the museum, which is divided into three major areas: reading area, leisure area and cultural and creative store, and has successfully realized the landing transformation and display and sales of cultural and creative product design achievements through open recruitment of operational cooperation units and IP authorization. This move is an exploration of cultural and creative work by a public welfare first-class fully funded public institution, and it is also a measure for the Nanhai District Government to assume responsibility and dare to explore.
On April 25 last year, ancient tombs were found at the Qingfengling construction site in Dali Town, Nanhai, which was a major archaeological discovery in Guangdong last year. Subsequently, the Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology carried out rescue excavations of Qingfengling, excavating an area of 500 square meters, cleaning 64 tombs, including 7 Han tombs, 57 tombs in the Ming and Qing dynasties, and more than 500 small pieces of pottery, stone tools, metal tools, organic matter cultural relics and other small pieces. Han Dynasty tombs are mainly wooden tombs, the tomb structure is complete, the excavated wooden tools and lacquerware are the first to be found in Foshan area; Ming and Qing tombs are vertical pit tombs, and some human bones and wooden coffins are well preserved.

Guided by the Nanhai District New Era Civilization Practice Center, sponsored by the Nanhai District Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau, and hosted by the Nanhai Museum Alliance, the Guangdong Grand View Museum and the Lingnan Finance Museum of Foshan City, the "Listening to the Night Talk Series" activities of the citizens realizes the "dialogue" between citizens and cultural heritage in the museum, creates a three-dimensional and vivid experience of traditional cultural activities, makes the cultural relics collected in the museum, the heritage displayed on the vast land, and the words written in ancient books come alive, continuously enhances cultural self-confidence, and realizes cultural pleasing to the people. At present, "Listen to the Night" has been held until the third season.
Among the ten major events of Foshan Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2021, the "Digital Exhibition of Intangible Cultural Heritage of China and Kuwait" in the South China Sea was selected. In 2021, the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Kuwait, in order to commemorate the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Kuwait and promote cultural exchanges between the two countries, on April 8 last year, the "Digital Exhibition of China and Kuwait's Intangible Cultural Heritage" was launched, and the launching ceremony was held on the same day at the Zhicheng Western Art Museum in Nanhai District, Foshan City, and the exhibition period lasted until July 8. The exhibition showcases more than 100 exhibits, including Chinese porcelain, silk, classical furniture, local specialties and intangible cultural creations, as well as Kuwait's traditional Sadhu weaving and date palm trees.

The construction of an ecological protection zone has rejuvenated the culture of Lingnan Guangfu
In the past two years, the cause of South China Sea Culture and Expo has achieved rapid development, which is inseparable from a series of strong policy support. In 2020, Nanhai issued the "Foshan Nanhai District Museum Cluster Planning", deepened the development pattern of seven series of venues and three major cluster museums, and fully promoted the preparation of leading projects such as the Financial Museum Project and the Jianchuan New China Centennial Museum Project.
In 2021, nanhai issued the "Nanhai District Cultural Relics Protection and Development Strategy Master Plan", effectively do a good job in the protection and development of 390 various types of immovable cultural relics in Nanhai District; revise and publish the "Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Incentive Fund for the Construction of Public Cultural and Sports Facilities in Foshan Nanhai District" and the "Implementation Rules for the Reward Fund for the Protection of Historical and Traditional Culture in Foshan Nanhai District" to help the construction of the city of museums, the protection of cultural relics and the non-genetic inheritance; and revise the "Measures for the Support of the Development of Non-State-owned Museums in the Nanhai District". Extend the validity period of the support measures until 2026, continue to improve the support system for non-state-owned museums, and provide funding for non-state-owned museums.
In addition, Nanhai actively guides non-state-owned museums to apply for relevant provincial and municipal support funds to improve the construction level of non-state-owned museums. At the same time, we will continue to give play to the role of the South China Sea Museum Alliance, establish a mechanism for state-owned and non-state-owned museums to help and cooperate, plan and hold a series of activities, and promote the sharing of resources among museums in the region in terms of collection information, exhibition planning, social education, and business training.
The 13th Party Congress of Foshan Proposed to "unswervingly promote the prosperity and development of culture and continue to revitalize the culture of Lingnan Guangfu". The South China Sea is an important birthplace and inheritance of Cantonese culture, as well as an important source of Cantonese culture in Hong Kong, Macao and overseas, and it is of special significance to build the Guangfu Culture (South China Sea) Ecological Reserve. At present, the South China Sea has completed the preparation of the "Guangfu Culture (South China Sea) Ecological Protection Zone Planning Outline".
According to the relevant person in charge, in 2022, the South China Sea will promote the digitization and informatization of cultural heritage. Promote the implementation of the "South China Sea Area Cultural Relics Protection and Development Strategy Master Plan", the South China Sea District immovable cultural relics information management platform online, continue to do a good job in archaeological excavations, follow up the archaeological excavations of The Wentuling Kiln Site and The Strange Stone Kiln Site, and coordinate various departments to do a good job in archaeological investigation, exploration and excavation.
At the same time, cross-border integration is highlighted and a "museum +" pattern is built. Encourage museums to actively integrate into the development of social and people's livelihood undertakings and tourism, cultural and creative industries in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and build a "museum +" development pattern. Taking the "Development Plan for the Protection and Development of Intangible Cultural Heritage in the South China Sea Area" as the action guide, on the basis of protection and inheritance, we will explore the convergence point between traditional culture and modern society, and integrate the 66 intangible cultural heritage projects in the South China Sea District into modern life.
Next, the South China Sea will also encourage non-genetic learning institutes (transmission bases) to be included in the middle and small teaching practice points, and widely guide the public to participate in the protection of cultural heritage. Strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights of intangible cultural heritage, further promote The special products of the South China Sea such as Jiujiang Double Steaming and Xiangyun Yarn, do a good job in the registration and protection of intellectual property rights of "South China Sea Gifts" cultural and creative products, and broaden the sales market of cultural and creative products in the South China Sea.
