Bai Yu introduced the development process of Xi'an Qujiang Red Memory Museum since its establishment, it is understood that since the museum was established in 2015, an average of more than 40 public welfare activities have been held every year, and the activities are mainly based on party member learning and education activities, party building activities and youth patriotism learning and education in various schools, and actively undertake social education and social service functions. More than 200,000 people visit every year, and in recent years, due to the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the number of visitors has been 50,000-80,000. The museum is well received by tourists in terms of ideas, exhibits and curation.

The museum strictly implements the preservation of cultural relics in accordance with the requirements of the higher authorities, and achieves basic standards in terms of temperature, humidity monitoring, security lighting facilities, monitoring systems, etc., but it is still far from the strict level of preservation of cultural relics in state-owned museums.

In the interview, Bai Yu also talked about the practical problems faced by the museum in the process of development. The museum has been striving to become a primary and secondary school research and education base and patriotic education base, and since its opening, it has been adhering to the purpose of opening to the outside world free of charge, but it is restricted by factors such as the location and area of the venue, so that the development of the museum is very slow.

In addition, the total area of the museum is nearly 1,000 square meters, in the process of operation, in addition to the initial capital investment, such as decoration, display and other links, facility upgrading, collection protection research, etc. is also a considerable expense, coupled with the continuous investment of daily operating funds, the museum has greater financial pressure, and the current operation is in a situation of insufficient income. In addition, in the process of museum operation, there are more or less problems such as lack of policy support, which also seriously restricts the orderly and healthy development of the museum, and it is difficult to achieve the standard level of state-owned museums in the preservation facilities of cultural relics warehouses and the fire protection system.

In addition to factors, private museums are also facing the dilemma of lack of talents. Graduates and practitioners with a background in literature and science are rarely willing to work in private museums. Under the action of a variety of reasons, the daily maintenance and activity planning of the museum can only be explored by themselves, so that the development of the museum has insufficient stamina and motivation.

Therefore, it is hoped that the government will help non-state-owned museums, include the professional and technical personnel of non-state-owned museums in the scope of evaluation of professional and technical titles of cultural museums, and help non-state-owned museums effectively improve the level of exhibitions, collection protection and restoration, social education and open services.

At the same time, we will increase the special fund support of museums to help fill their gaps in collection protection, exhibition and exhibition, scientific research, and talent training. Through the feedback of social groups and the annual inspection of museums, excellent museums are rewarded every year, increasing their development momentum, and better serving the society and the public.
