The 10 new "City of Museums" series of museums are Chaozhou Chao'an District Museum, Chaozhou Chao'an District Chaozhenlou Embroidery Art Museum, Chaozhou Phoenix Single Cong Tea Museum, Qinglan Geological Museum, Former Site of the Anti-Japanese Headquarters of the Haishan Volunteer Army (Liu Cuo Temple), Chaozhou Xiangqiao District Museum, Chaozhou Chaofu Gongfu Tea Culture Museum, Chaozhou Chen Weinan Cultural Center, Mingrui Chao embroidery art museum, Chaozhou Yudetang Pot Art Research Institute.
At the awarding ceremony, it was announced that Chaozhou had registered 6 more non-state-owned museums.
Previously, the Chaozhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports formulated and issued the "Chaozhou City Construction of a "City of Museums" (2021-2025) Implementation Plan" and planned that by 2025, the city will build 100 museums covering exhibition halls, exhibition halls, art galleries, memorial halls, folk customs halls, intangible cultural heritage museums and celebrity former residences (referred to as "various museums") and "museum city" system.
Chao'an District Museum of Chaozhou City is one of the new "City of Museums" series of museums, showing the history of Xiangqiao District.
The six non-state-owned museums that have been registered in Chaozhou are the Dawu Clay Sculpture Museum in Chao'an District, Chaozhou City, the Hanjiang Fucheng Folk Customs Museum in Chaozhou City, the Gu Liuxi Wood Sculpture Museum in Chaozhou City, the Huang Weixiong Pearl Embroidery Museum in Chaozhou City, the Chaozhou Yitaoxuan Chaozhou Kiln Museum in Chaozhou City, and the Chao'an District Porcelain Inlaid Porcelain Museum.

Non-state-owned museums refer to non-profit organizations that collect, protect and display to the public witnesses of human activities and the natural environment for the purpose of education, research and appreciation, and are established by social forces using or mainly using assets such as non-state-owned cultural relics, specimens, and materials, and are registered by the registration management organs in accordance with law. Non-state-owned museums are an important part of the national public cultural service system.
Chao'an District Dawu Clay Sculpture Museum carried out research activities and teaching training with the theme of Dawu clay sculpture.
The six non-state-owned museums have their own characteristics, either focusing on aesthetic education or winning with rare collections. The Dawu Clay Sculpture Museum in Chao'an District takes the Chaozhou Dawu Clay Sculpture as the theme, covering cultural inheritance, artistic creation, cultural exchange, visit and other functions. Nearly 100 pieces of Dawu clay sculptures from the 1950s to the present day are exhibited, and there is also a clay sculpture making research experience area where you can experience the production of clay sculptures. Chaozhou Yitaoxuan Chaozhou Kiln Museum has a collection of thousands of chaozhou kiln objects, displaying chaozhou ceramic utensils from the Shang Dynasty to the Republic of China, covering almost all important varieties in the history of the development of Chaozhou ceramics, many of which are unprecedented in museums, art galleries and professional research institutions at all levels. Chaozhou Chao'an District Porcelain Museum is currently the only Chaozhou Porcelain Inlaid Porcelain Museum in China, which is an important window for the dissemination of Chaozhou Porcelain Inlay Art.

On the day of the event, the unveiling ceremony of the "Exhibition of Qing Dynasty Blue and White Porcelain from the Collection" was held. The "Collection of Qing Dynasty Blue and White Porcelain Exhibition" exhibits a total of 54 fine pieces of Qing Dynasty blue and white porcelain, introducing the characteristics of blue and white porcelain in different periods of the Qing Dynasty, and showing the unique charm of blue and white porcelain, which is pure and elegant, fresh and unworldly. The exhibition venue is the mobile exhibition room on the second floor of the annex building of Chaozhou Museum, and the exhibition period is from January 1, 2022 to March 2022.
