The unsirable plot met us on time during the summer vacation, bringing endless laughter and laughter to our generation. Looking back now, "Journey to the West" is more about bringing me deeper thinking. Everyone has a different understanding of this novel, just as the so-called "a thousand people have a thousand Hamlets", it can also be said that a thousand people have a thousand versions of "Journey to the West", and there are different voices when studying and speculating on the author Wu Cheng'en's creation of this work. Some people interpret the roles and story positioning in combination with the social environment and background at that time, and some people analyze the author's creative inspiration from the religious level.
Everyone expresses their understanding quite convincingly and infectiously, which portrays the profundity of Chinese language and literature, and also depicts the scene of the Chinese nation's ideology and culture blooming from the side. Of course, this also reflects the huge social influence of this novel. And after reading this classic again recently, I have a little understanding of my own, recorded here, pure entertainment, and hope that readers will laugh after reading it.
The most distinctive thing in "Journey to the West" is the four masters and apprentices, each character is very distinctive and successful, impressive, and my thinking is around the main story line of the Western Heavens and relying on the personality characteristics of the four people. Among the four masters and apprentices, Tang Monk is the only "mortal", and the three apprentices are all gods and demons, but in our real life, there is no god and demon, so I understand "Journey to the West" as a story of a person who has experienced hardships and corrections in his character and finally becomes a road. The author takes the Tang monks as the main body when creating, externalizes the various qualities and characteristics of people into three apprentices, complements each other and accompanies each other for a lifetime, this story is to reflect that the growth of life is a process of constantly revising character, washing and purifying "impurities" in various tests, and finally becoming a "sage".
Tang Monk was a gentle and kind mortal. As the main body of the whole novel, it is precisely because of his "goodness" at the beginning of the story that there is a "deed" in the back, which also reflects the inherent goodness of human nature. Along the way, he rescued three apprentices, established a mentor-apprentice relationship, and gained the strength to protect him, so the three apprentices symbolize the quality of life we developed in the process of growing up. If the "Western Heavenly Enlightenment" is a sign of a person's growth, then the three disciples are the qualities that we need to have and correct on the road of growth. In the story, Tang Monk tells us with facts that in the journey of life, as long as we always uphold the quality of "goodness", move forward with perseverance, constantly adhere to good qualities and overcome various negative behaviors derived from life, we can eventually make ourselves "enlightened in the west" and grow into real "people".
Sun Wukong reflects a spirit of enterprising life. Sun Dasheng is the most popular character among them, and more or less each of us has fantasized about our own "big haunting of the Heavenly Palace" scene. His jealous and indomitable character qualities, his unbridled life, and his debauchery and open-mindedness have won the recognition and love of the broad masses of the people. Sun Wukong symbolizes the life stage of Fang Gang, full of vitality, sharpness and vigor. But just like Sun Wukong, we will also have times when we lack calmness and impetuosity, be easily affected by the external environment, and have large emotional fluctuations, resulting in injuries to ourselves, and the story of "three dozen white bone essences" confirms such a truth. People's growth should have a forge ahead, open-minded spirit of life, of course, we should also have more calm, more thinking.
What Pig Wu can embody is a lazy and sluggish mood of life. The role of Pig Eight Commandments is a diametrically opposed image to Sun Wukong, who is like the "funny bearer" of this team, symbolizing more of a negative life emotion. Of course, everyone will be lazy. This is an emotion that each of us will have to a greater or lesser extent, and the gap in human growth lies in this. Some people can overcome these negative emotions and eventually grow and succeed; others, eventually lose the motivation to struggle and indulge in the worldly lights. The ancients had a cloud of "no one is perfect", and the sign of human maturity is not exactly to be able to overcome such and such desires? We can't avoid talking about these negative emotions, we must face up to them and then try to improve, and then move forward with hope and sunshine.
Sha Wujing corresponds to a hard-working quality of life. Sha Monk is one of the most "presence" characters, his image is always shouldering the burden, silently following behind the team. He showed us that there are always people who work hard in the corner and silently dedicate themselves to the progress of the team, which is an excellent traditional virtue of the Chinese nation, but also a good quality of life, which is also a hope for the author for himself. Whether it is a Tang monk or a disciple, they always have good thoughts and eventually become enlightened, which may be some of the meanings that the author wanted to express when he was creating, hoping that in that era, the king would treat the people "kindly" and the people would treat themselves "kindly". In fact, no matter how the times develop, "goodness" is eternal and unchanging, and only with goodness can people become true "people", start well and end well, and finally achieve self-realization.
