Tesla reportedly bought the railway so that employees could easily and quickly reach the berlin gigafactory when it was fully operational. In the future, Tesla will be responsible for the planning, construction and operation of the railway service.

According to the plan, the Berlin Gigafactory is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2021, but it has not yet officially officially mass-produced. At present, the factory has produced a small number of Model Y models, and the information shows that the German-made Tesla Model Y will have a range of 565km, while equipped with a new 12V small battery pack and a new processor chip and sound system. The production plan of Tesla Model 3 has not yet been exposed, but it shows that the range of the model can reach 626 kilometers.
From the perspective of endurance, the Model Y produced in Germany has not yet produced a model equipped with a 4680 battery. The new car will still be based on standard production methods, using giant integrated rear castings and continuing to use model 2170 batteries.
Tesla plans to start production in the first quarter of 2022, and the initial weekly production capacity of the German gigafactory will reach 1,000 units (Model Y), and then continue to climb, and finally the annual production capacity will reach 500,000 units.
