Founded in 2007, Hunan Xiaoxiang Calligraphy and Painting Institute is a provincial-level public welfare cultural social organization supervised by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Hunan Province and registered by the Department of Civil Affairs of Hunan Province, which mainly organizes well-known domestic calligraphers and painters and calligraphy and painting artists to carry out calligraphy and painting art creation, exchange, research, exhibition, training, etc., and is committed to creating a xiangjun of calligraphy and painting with the fine works of calligraphy and painting as the leading force.
At the meeting, Yang Guoping, former president of the Xiaoxiang Academy of Calligraphy and Painting in Hunan Province, summarized and reviewed the development process of the Academy since its establishment. The meeting elected a new board of directors and distinguished painters. Yang Junxuan, a member of the China Artists Association, a painter of the new literary and art group, a national second-level artist, and a literary artist of the "Three Hundred Project" in Hunan, was elected as the president of the new Xiaoxiang Calligraphy and Painting Institute of Hunan Province. He Jun, Li Rui and Zeng Guibin were elected as vice presidents. Zeng Guibin was also hired as secretary general.
Yang Xiaoxuan said that he will inherit and carry forward the glorious tradition of the older generation of calligraphers and painters, lead the members of the new board of directors to continue to forge ahead, have the courage to take responsibility, strengthen, optimize and refine the management of the calligraphy and painting institute, and make new contributions to the revitalization of the public welfare cause of calligraphy and painting.
