According to foreign media gsmarena, recently, Samsung released an Exynos 2200 promotional video, showing the performance of the chip's GPU, CPU, and network connection. This SoC uses a 4nm extreme ultraviolet lithography process with built-in AMD RDNA 2 architecture Samsung Xclipse graphics processing unit (GPU).
The chip's Xclipse GPU (based on the AMD RDNA2 architecture) is the first mobile GPU to have hardware acceleration for ray tracing.
In addition, the GPU will support Variable Rate Shading (VRS), which will help it keep the frame rate stable. For future gaming phones, the chipset supports screens up to 144 Hz refresh rates and HDR10+.
The video also touches on cloud gaming, which has a built-in 5G modem and download speeds of up to 10 Gbps.
The video shows that the new NPU is twice as fast as the Exynos 2100. This digital processing capability will be used to help the camera capture the best images possible. The new chipset supports sensors up to 200 million pixels and can record 30 fps 8K video.
