The first thing that made Dazhong famous in the Liaoning painting world was Gongbihu's "Finding the Moon", a work that participated in the Liaoning Provincial Art Exhibition on the 30th anniversary of the founding of New China, and once it was exhibited, it lit up the eyes of connoisseurs and audiences. His award-winning "First Snow" in the International Youth Art Exhibition writes a pair of mountain kings with two emotions, squatting and standing, looking at the mountains and fields of heaven and earth. The motherly tranquility and dignity of the snow, the white purity of the snow, and the thickness of the snow make this pair of tigers have the briskness of the skin and bone itch, and also make the viewer fade in this "First Snow". His "Love" (also known as "Mother and Son"), which was selected for the International Year of Peace art exhibition organized by the United Nations, is the only work in this art exhibition that expresses peace with a fierce stride. The picture is set against the hazy scene of "grass color looking close but nothing", and depicts a pair of young tiger lovers who have fallen in love. But when he saw the two tigers contradicting each other, the male tiger's hot eyes were passionate, and the female tiger's eyes were slightly closed, as if ashamed and disgusted. The state of embracing each other, loving and loving, is gentle and timeless. The inscription on the painting is cloudy: "The beast is still like this, how is it in the world?" In 1987, Feng Dazhong and Song Yugui jointly held a painting exhibition at the National Art Museum of China, which made Dazhong famous. The old man Zhao Puchu praised: "There are fierce tigers in the painting world, and the big middle can be called the king." In 1990, Dazhong went to Hong Kong to hold a painting exhibition, and Nobel Prize winner Mr. Yang Zhenning flew from the other side of the ocean to Xiangjiang, praised Dazhong's tiger paintings as "unprecedented and future", and invited Dazhong to go to the United States to give lectures at the university where he taught... He is a deputy to the 10th, 11th and 12th National People's Congress, the former president of the China Gongbi Painting Society, the deputy director of the Chinese Painting Art Committee of the China Artists Association, the vice president of the Chinese Painting Society, the director of the China Artists Association, the vice chairman of the Liaoning Provincial Artists Association, the national first-class artist, and an expert enjoying special allowances from the State Council.
Feng Dazhong's works "Awakening" and "Mother and Son" were selected into the "Complete Collection of Chinese Art"; his works "Awakening" and "Frightening Dream" were selected into the "China Centennial Painting Exhibition" and "China Centennial Painting Collection"; 18 works were collected by the National Art Museum of China, and dozens of works were collected by important art museums, professional institutions and collectors at home and abroad.
