Feng Dazhong was born in 1949 in Liaoning Province. He is a deputy to the 10th, 11th and 12th National People's Congress, the president of the Chinese Gongbi Painting Society, the deputy director of the Chinese Painting Art Committee of the China Artists Association, the vice president of the Chinese Painting Society, the director of the China Artists Association, the vice chairman of the Liaoning Provincial Artists Association, a national first-class painter, and an expert enjoying special allowances from the State Council. Over the years, Mr. Feng has held exhibitions in Beijing, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, France, Australia and other countries and regions, and his works have been selected for national exhibitions and won awards. His works "Awakening" and "Mother and Son" were selected into the "Complete Collection of Chinese Art"; the works "Awakening" and "Frightening Dreams" were selected into the "China Centennial Painting Exhibition" and "China Centennial Painting Collection"; 18 works were collected by the National Art Museum of China, and dozens of works were collected by important art museums, professional institutions and collectors at home and abroad. Mr. Feng has published a variety of painting albums and notations in Japan, Hong Kong and China's RongBaozhai, Yang Liuqing, People's Fine Arts Publishing House and other publishing institutions.
