On stage to perform "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai", Jin Jing always remembers the picture of entering the Jing'an Yue Opera Troupe 40 years ago and being "named" by Yue opera master Qi Yaxian, "In a flash of 40 years, I changed from a student to a teacher. Recently, she held an exhibition for the 40th anniversary of her art on the Tiantou Yifu Stage, and launched the Qi (Yaxian) Bi (Chunfang) version of "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai" and the Famous Qi Bi genre drama "Blood Handprint" that has been violating the stage for nearly 40 years, which surprised the fans. In late October, the two plays are scheduled to tour in Wenzhou and Ningbo, Zhejiang.
Qi Yaxian is known for playing kind and bitter women. Qi Bi's version of "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai" was premiered in 1952, showing the essence of Qi Bi's art to the greatest extent, retaining passages such as "Weeping Spirit Hanging Filial Piety", and "My Family Has a Little Nine Sisters", "Eighteen Phases", "Loutai Hui" and other paragraphs are also widely circulated. Although the folding drama is often performed, the complete Qi Bi version of "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai" is rarely seen on the stage.
After graduating from the Shanghai Opera School, Jin Jing entered the Jing'an Yue Opera Troupe, the main position of the Qi Bi school. Qi Yaxian came to the troupe for a meeting, and after hearing Jin Jing sing the famous Qi Pai drama "Yutang Spring", he immediately made a decision, starring Jin Jing in "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai". Qi Yaxian said, "This play can be taken down, any play can be done." Jin Jing did not disappoint her, and two months later, the troupe put the original innovative play "Xiangluo Belt" starring Jin Jing on the stage.
Affected by the epidemic, this time Jin Jing's rehearsal of "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai" took 9 months. "Inherit the classics handed down by the teacher and create new classics." We sorted out and improved the stage scheduling, and the props, sets, costumes, etc. were all remade. Jin Jing said frankly, whenever she remembered Qi Yaxian's words "can't learn to die, can't die to learn", she felt a lot of pressure, "On stage, I am not called Jin Jing, I am the third generation of Qi Yaxian, and I kept listening to the teacher's recording before the performance." Partnering with Jin Jing and playing Liang Shanbo is Ruan Jianrong from the Yuyao Yue Troupe. A week before the performance, the band's drumboard players were in a car accident. Jin Jing had to invite Ye Jiazhen, who was more than seventy years old, out of the mountain, and he beat the drum board for the three generations of actors of the Jing'an Yue Opera Troupe for a lifetime. After the performance, the audience applauded thunderously, which made Jin Jing breathe a sigh of relief, "The host Ye Huixian told me that he was moved to tears by the 'crying spirit'. ”
After two consecutive nights of "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai", and the third night of "Blood Handprint", Jin Jing and student Xu Ting appeared before and after, "I passed the Qi Pai art baton to the fourth generation. "Blood Handprint" pours out the sad feelings of Wang Qianjin and Lin Zhao, a couple who are separated from life and death through rich plate changes and singing voices. Jin Jing took the stage in a fold of the "Dharma Priest", and through a wealth of plate variations and singing voices, pushed the tragic color of the whole play to the extreme, "Pass on the help, how Teacher Qi taught me by example, I also taught the students this way." ”
Qi Yaxian and Bi Chunfang began to cooperate with the Yue Opera Troupe in the early 1950s, and established the Jing'an Yue Opera Troupe in the 1980s, creating and performing a series of plays such as "The Legend of the White Snake", "Blood Handprint", "Yutang Spring", "Dragon and Phoenix Flower Candle" and so on. Qi Pai is simple and smooth, deep and subtle, Bi Pai is bright and bold, smooth and free, and many lifelike stage art images created by the founders of the two genres are deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
Jin Jing, who became famous as a teenager, once bid farewell to the stage and went to Japan. Every year, she is invited back to Shanghai to perform for the opera evening and to be a guest for her predecessors. Until the beginning of 2000, Jin Jing returned to the Yue opera stage wholeheartedly, visited the Shanghai Yue Theater with the leaders of the Jing'an Yue Opera Troupe, and cooperated to launch the classic plays of the Qi Bi genre such as "Yutang Spring" and "Blood Handprint". She also put "The Legend of the White Snake" on the screen, insisted on not using a stand-in, independently completed the two martial arts scenes of "Grass Theft" and "Water Fight", kicked the gun and danced the sword, and completed it in one go. The 8-disc CD "Jin Sheng YaYun" sung by Jin Jing not only contains the "White Blood Double Jade" of the mentor Qi Yaxian, but also contains 50 classic singing segments such as "The Memory of the Soul" and "Double Pearl Phoenix" by Sister Zhou Yaqin, Zhu Zhufen's "The Emperor of Guangxu", and her own "Xiangluo Belt" and "The Unloved Love of the Yuan", which is the most complete systematic arrangement of Qi Pai art. In 2019, Jin Jing donated funds to "Yuemei China - National Yue Opera Young Actors Show", "When we were young, we were well known to the audience through two Yangtze River Delta Yue Opera TV Grand Prix. Now I want to help a new generation of actors. ”
With the withdrawal of the Jing'an Yue Opera Troupe from the stage, the performances of the Qi Bi genre are also becoming less and less. Jin Jing wrote in the program book of the 40th anniversary of congyi, "I can't bear to watch the 'family' make a home from all over the world, no matter how difficult it is, I have an unshirkable responsibility to complete the teacher's instructions and support this family again." She revealed that over the years, the cultural authorities of Jing'an District have supported her to do a good job in artistic inheritance, this time specially authorized to perform Qi Bi's classic drama, with the help of the Jing'an District North Station Street Office, the "Jin Jingyue Opera Troupe" will soon be born, the descendants and partners of the Qi Bi school will eventually "have a home", "Next year we plan to put the Qi Bi version of "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai" on the screen." ”
