According to the British "Daily Mail" reported on January 19, an armed robbery occurred on the afternoon of January 18 on a highway in Cape Town, South Africa, a group of armed robbers blew up a cash truck and snatched a large amount of cash, while other drivers who were stuck in the road took their place, scrambling to pick up the cash spilled on the ground after the robbers fled.

At least 12 armed robbers reportedly ambushed the cash truck, using explosives to blow open the side and door of the truck, and both the driver and the security guard were shot wounded. It is reported that the armed police then arrived quickly and opened fire on a car in which the robbers were fleeing, hitting two people and arresting four people, while the remaining robbers fled.
