On December 14, an ATM at a convenience store in New Taipei City, Taiwan, was robbed in the evening by three armed robbers, snatching about NT$1.2 million (more than RMB270,000) in cash. However, the police found in the investigation of the case that the 19-year-old security guard Involved Cai mou and the robbery gang chief plotter Liu Mou were friends, and the two had known each other for more than ten years. Liu had previously discussed the robbery with Cai, and Cai then applied for a security guard at a convenience store, and the two communicated on the day of the crime. At present, Cai mou has also been controlled by the police.
