Public resumes show that Xiao Yi, male, Han ethnicity, was born in May 1962. Xiao Yi, a native of Ganzhou, Jiangxi, has served in his hometown for more than 30 years, serving as deputy county magistrate of Shangyou County, deputy secretary of the Longnan County Party Committee and secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, mayor of Ruijin City, member of the Standing Committee of the Ganzhou Municipal Party Committee, and secretary of the Ruijin Municipal Party Committee. In November 2006, Xiao Yi went to the Beijing Office of the Jiangxi Provincial Government to serve as deputy director, deputy secretary of the party group, director, secretary of the party group, etc., and in April 2015, Xiao Yi was appointed secretary of the Fuzhou Municipal Party Committee, and later vice chairman of the Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. On November 13 this year, Xiao Yi was "double-opened". Pan Yiyang was transferred to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in October 2010, and before being deputy secretary of the Party Group of the Autonomous Region Government, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee and secretary of the Ganzhou Municipal Party Committee for more than seven years. He was appointed Acting Mayor of Ganzhou City in August 2011 and served as Mayor of Ganzhou City until September 2016 after his regularization the following month. Leng Xinsheng's predecessor, Wang Ping, former party secretary and director of the Jiangxi Provincial Local Taxation Bureau, served as the mayor of Ganzhou from March 2008 to August 2011. In August 2016, Wang Ping was indicted on suspicion of bribery and bribery.

On January 22, Yu Zhigang, the first "tiger" of the year and former vice president of China University of Political Science and Law, fell. In February, Song Liang, member of the Standing Committee of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee and executive vice governor, Xie Changjun, former member of the party group and deputy general manager of China Guodian Group Corporation, Wang Fuyu, former chairman of the Guizhou Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and Zhang Xinqi, former deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Shandong Provincial People's Congress, were dismissed successively. All four "tigers" have been prosecuted. Among them, Song Liang, Xie Changjun, and Zhang Xinqi were suspected of accepting bribes, and In addition to being suspected of accepting bribes, Xie Changjun was also suspected of illegally making profits for relatives and friends and abusing their powers by personnel of state-owned companies. Xie Changjun was the first "tiger" accused of illegally making profits for relatives and friends.

In March, Peng Bo, former deputy director of the Office of the Central Leading Group for Preventing and Handling Cult Problems, was ousted. On October 11, Peng Bo was indicted on suspicion of accepting bribes, and in April, Yin Jiaxu, the former chairman of China North Industries Group Co., Ltd., and Liu Xinyun, vice governor of Shanxi Province and director of the provincial public security department, were ousted. On October 9, Hebei procuratorates prosecuted Liu Xinyun for allegedly accepting bribes and abusing his power. On November 30, the procuratorate prosecuted Yin Jiaxu for allegedly accepting bribes and illegally making profits for relatives and friends.

In May, in addition to Xiao Yi, Pan Jiahua, head of the discipline inspection team of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration and former member of the party group of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration, was also dismissed. On November 26, the procuratorate decided to arrest Pan Jiahua in accordance with the law. Pan Jiahua is the first "internal ghost" of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection that fell this year.

In June, Gan Rongkun, member of the Standing Committee of the Henan Provincial Party Committee and secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, and Meng Yongshan, chief procurator of the Qinghai Provincial People's Procuratorate, were dismissed. On December 2, Gan Rongkun was "double-opened", and Meng Yongshan was prosecuted in October.

In addition, among the 12 "tigers" that fell in the second half of the year, Yang Fulin, former deputy commander of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, who was investigated on July 29, was expelled from the party on December 2.
