In 2021, there were 3 "tigers" who were over 70 years old at the time of investigation, in addition to Cai Esheng, Li Wenxi, former vice chairman of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and Liu Chuansheng, former secretary of the party committee of Beijing Normal University.

Among them, Li Wenxi, former vice chairman of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, was born in March 1950, and he was 71 years old when he was investigated last year.

Li Wenxi has served in the political and legal system for a long time, serving as an assistant to the governor of Liaoning Province and the director of the provincial public security department.

Liu Chuansheng was born in December 1950 and voluntarily surrendered in July 2021, and she was not transferred to justice.

According to the State Supervision Commission of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, after Liu Chuansheng voluntarily surrendered, he was able to truthfully explain his problems, voluntarily hand over all the proceeds of violations of discipline and law, and give him a lenient and mitigated treatment in accordance with the principles of punishing those who have violated discipline and the latter, treating the sick and saving people.

In the end, Liu Chuansheng was expelled from the party and adjusted his retirement benefits according to the sixth-level staff.

Meng Xiang was investigated on July 16, 2021, while serving as a member of the Adjudication Committee and director of the Executive Bureau of the Supreme People's Court.

The Discipline Inspection Commission reported that Meng Xiang deliberately resisted organizational review and engaged in superstitious activities; violated the spirit of the eight central regulations, accepted gifts and gifts in violation of the law, and accepted banquets that might affect the fair execution of official duties for a long time; did not report personal matters in accordance with regulations; engaged in profit-making activities in violation of regulations and obtained large returns through private lending; violated the law in law enforcement, interfered in the selection and appointment of cadres and judicial activities in violation of the law; became corrupt and degenerate in life; engaged in power and money transactions on a large scale, and used his position to facilitate the execution of case trials and the contracting of engineering projects for others. On February 10, the Supreme People's Procuratorate reported that Meng Xiang's suspected bribery case was investigated by the State Supervision Commission and transferred to the procuratorate for review and prosecution.
