Building a Solid Defense Line for Family Protection Haikou Municipal Procuratorate Issued "Supervision and Guardianship Order"

On the morning of January 18, the Haikou Municipal Procuratorate publicly delivered the "Supervision and Guardianship Order" to the parents of a juvenile involved in the case in accordance with the law, urging the guardian to attach importance to family education, perform guardianship duties, learn family education knowledge, and create a good, harmonious, and civilized family environment.

In the course of handling the case, the procuratorate found through social investigation that the parents of the juvenile involved in the case had lax supervision and lack of guardianship in their daily family education, resulting in the minor being in a state of improper upbringing for a long time, developing bad habits, having a weak sense of law, making bad friends in society and getting together to commit criminal acts, and that there was a causal relationship between the family's inadequate guardianship and the juvenile involved in the crime.

In response to the family environment and guardianship situation of the minors involved in the case, the Haikou Municipal Procuratorate has formulated a targeted "Supervision and Guardianship Order" and proposed key guardianship measures to educate parents to take the initiative to perform guardianship duties, and effectively guide minors to establish correct values and return to the right path as soon as possible.

After the announcement, the Haikou Municipal Procuratorate, social worker organizations, and guardians signed the "Agreement on Observation, Care, And Education" on the spot, and the Haikou Municipal Procuratorate entrusted the Haikou Friendly Social Work Service Center to carry out conditional non-prosecution probationary period for the minors involved in the case. In the next step, the Haikou Municipal Procuratorate will conduct regular return visits to fully understand the implementation of the "Supervision and Guardianship Order", strengthen family protection, and help the minors involved in the case to return to society.
