On January 13, 2022, Lu Zhongrong, member of the Standing Committee of the Xing'an County CPC Committee, secretary of the Political and Legal Committee and director of the Narcotics Control Commission, Zhang Ke, executive deputy secretary of the County Political and Legal Committee, and Wu Yuping, director of the County Narcotics Control Office, went to Xing'an Town, Cui Hometown and Baishi Township to investigate the "creation of drug-free villages to help rural revitalization" and the control of drug addicts.
The research group inspected the anti-narcotics work in Hujiadong Village, Xing'an Town, Wu Ping'an, secretary of the party committee of Xing'an Town, gave a detailed introduction to the construction of a drug-free village in Hujiadong Village, and the responsible comrades of the town's Narcotics Control Office and the police station respectively made reports on the creation of anti-drug demonstration communities (drug-free villages) and the crackdown on drug crimes in the jurisdiction.
Subsequently, the research team visited the Cui Hometown Community Drug Rehabilitation Workstation, the Baishi Township Community Drug Rehabilitation Workstation, and the Baishi Township Yanmenmen Village, and Tang Hong, secretary of the Cui Hometown Party Committee, and Jiang Yanqiong, secretary of the Baishi Township Party Committee, reported on the development of the anti-drug work in the township. By checking the ledger, listening to reports, and having face-to-face conversations with staff, anti-drug social workers, and village committee cadres, the research team learned in detail about the anti-drug work in Cui's hometown and Baishi Township.
Lü Zhongrong fully affirmed the achievements made in the anti-narcotics work in various townships and towns, and put forward work requirements in light of the needs of the upcoming Lunar New Year and the social stabilization and control work on the eve of the upcoming Winter Olympic Games: First, it is necessary to strengthen the dynamic control of drug addicts, strictly implement various measures for the control of drug addicts, and do a thorough count, a clear situation, accurate data, and practical measures.
