China Quality News Network News Spring Festival is approaching, in order to prevent and resolve food safety hazards, to ensure the safety of the masses during the festival, recently, the Market Supervision Bureau of Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province, organized municipal and county food testing and inspection agencies to comprehensively carry out special sampling of food safety during the festival.

The sampling inspection is mainly in the food business link, the city and county inspection agencies at the two levels of classification and complementarity, to the double festival during the masses of high attention, large consumption, high safety risks of bulk food and Chinese New Year's Eve rice and other seasonal foods, focusing on the wholesale market, shopping malls, supermarkets, catering service units, farmers' markets, rural markets and other places with large consumption during the festival, highlighting the guarantee of the Spring Festival, Lantern Festival and other important periods, by giving full play to the technical advantages of food testing and inspection institutions, to ensure food safety during the festival.

At present, the municipal 150 batches of special sampling inspection is being carried out in an orderly manner in the municipal food quality and safety inspection and testing center, and the special sampling inspection of "double festival" food in various counties (cities, districts) is also carried out simultaneously in accordance with the requirements of no less than 0.4 batches /thousand people. All testing and inspection institutions are strictly in accordance with the procedures stipulated in the "Measures for the Administration of Food Safety Sampling Inspection" to carry out sampling work, follow-up will be based on the sampling results of risk interpretation, the detection of unqualified food in accordance with laws and regulations to carry out verification and disposal, timely resolution of food safety risks.

The Yan'an Municipal Market Supervision Bureau requires that the city's market supervision departments and inspection agencies should strictly abide by the epidemic prevention and control management regulations of the sampled areas such as farmers' markets, supermarkets, shopping malls, and production enterprises when carrying out their work, strictly implement the epidemic prevention and control measures, ensure the smooth progress of special supervision and sampling, and ensure the food safety of the people in the city.
