Professor He Xijing
President of the North Branch of Xi'an International Medical Center Hospital, Director of the Institute of Bone and Biomaterials, Institute of Precision Medicine, Xi'an Jiaotong University. He was the deputy director of the Medical Department of Xi'an Jiaotong University and the president of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University. Ph.D., first-class chief physician, professor, doctoral supervisor.
Chief Scientist of the 13th Five-Year Plan of the National Key R&D Program, Head of the National Clinical Key Discipline, Director of the Clinical Medical Research Center of Orthopedic Diseases in Shaanxi Province. He has served as the deputy editor-in-chief, editorial board member and reviewer of many academic journals. He is the chief editor of 2 national planning textbooks, 2 deputy editors, 1 monograph, and 6 textbooks and monographs. He has presided over 1 national key research and development program project in the 13th Five-Year Plan, 1 military logistics open research project of the Logistics Support Department of the Central Military Commission, 4 national science and technology funds, and more than 20 provincial and ministerial key projects. As the first person to complete it, he has won 3 first prizes and 2 second prizes of provincial and ministerial science and technology, and won more than 40 international and national invention patents. He has published more than 600 academic papers, including more than 170 in SCI and more than 6,600 citations. It has trained more than 170 postdoctoral, doctoral and master students.
After the outbreak of the epidemic in Xi'an, President He immediately organized the relevant departments and departments of the hospital to hold a meeting at the first time, scientifically judged the epidemic situation, arranged various work during the epidemic period, and formulated two principles, one is to actively undertake the tasks issued by the government, and make every effort to support the treatment of new crown pneumonia patients and nucleic acid sampling; the second is to achieve the full collection of dues, and ensure that the treatment of patients who come to the hospital is stable and orderly under the premise of ensuring safety. Under the leadership of President He, the hospital successfully performed caesarean section in the emergency passage isolation operating room for the "hip-breaking women without nucleic acid results" in a timely manner, and a total of 3 isolated operating room caesarean sections were performed during the epidemic in Xi'an. Up to now, Xi'an International Medical Group, where President He belongs, has sent 9 batches of 511 medical staff to support the stationing of 511 medical staff in Xi'an City's new crown pneumonia designated treatment hospital, and at the same time, 6918 medical staff have been dispatched in 107 batches, and more than 4.2 million nucleic acid samples have been completed.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, President He has eaten and lived in the hospital for more than 20 consecutive days, often sleeping only 4 or 5 hours a day, holding regular meetings to continuously adjust and optimize various work arrangements according to changes in the epidemic situation; insisting on leading daily inspections and supervising the implementation of various prevention and control requirements; rushing to support designated hospitals and nucleic acid sampling points to understand and solve the work difficulties and living difficulties of frontline epidemic prevention personnel.
This is not the first time that President He has struggled in the frontline of the fight against the epidemic, at the beginning of the outbreak of the epidemic in Wuhan in early 2020, President He Xijing was ordered to lead the medical team to the frontline of the fight against the epidemic in Wuhan overnight. Xi'an International Medical Group has also sent a total of 6 batches of 330 medical staff to take over the severe wards of Wuhan Eighth Hospital and Suizhou People's Hospital. The medical team innovatively adopted the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine program formulated by the expert team led by President He, which lasted more than 50 days, treated 471 patients in total, achieved zero patient deaths and zero infections of the medical team, and made significant contributions to the final victory of the "epidemic" in Wuhan, and was commended by the governments of Hubei Province, Shaanxi Province and Wuhan Municipality.

Fighting SARS, earthquake relief, and new crown, every time a major public health incident breaks out, you can always see President He busy. He has also been commended by the state, provinces and municipalities as "advanced individual in earthquake resistance and disaster relief", "excellent communist party member" and "most beautiful retrograde" for his outstanding completion of tasks. Although he is more than a year old, he can still see the fortitude and courage of his youth in his eyes. As a veteran who has fought in the frontline of disaster relief and anti-epidemic several times, he interprets the responsibility and responsibility of a doctor in the face of a catastrophe with practical actions.
I have known NRR magazine for many years, watched the leapfrog growth of NRR, and last year, I was ranked in the second region of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, with an impact factor of more than 5 points, and I was quite happy and moved. The achievement of this series of achievements is inseparable from the purpose and principle of the journal that NRR has always adhered to. Professor Huang Jinghui
Head of the Orthopedic Medical Team of Xijing Hospital of Air Force Military Medical University, Associate Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Winner of the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund, Winner of the National Hundred Excellent Bo Papers, Selected as the "Young Outstanding Talents Support Program" of Shaanxi Universities. Mainly engaged in the basic and clinical work of peripheral nerve injury repair, he has presided over 6 projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and published more than 50 SCI papers in authoritative journals in this field such as Sci Adv, Biomaterials, Glia, Adv Healthc Mater, FASEB J, etc., and has been cited more than 2,000 times. In 2011, as a national representative, he was invited to participate in the "61st Nobel Laureate Conference". As the main finisher, he won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Award, the first prize of the Science and Technology Award of the Ministry of Education and the first prize of the COA2016 Orthopedic Basic Research Award, and won 7 national invention patents, of which 1 invention was awarded the COA2016 Most Valuable Design Top 10. At present, he is the leader of the peripheral nerve injury and repair group of the Neurological Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association, a member of the Innovation and Transformation Group of the Orthopedic Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and a member of the Tissue Repair and Regeneration Branch of the Chinese Medical Association.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Xi'an, as a medical worker, he has actively undertaken the mission of a doctor, while assisting the hospital to complete the epidemic prevention work, he has been stationed in the department every day to diagnose and treat patients with critically ill spine, and at the same time, for patients from other places who cannot return to their places of residence due to the epidemic, strengthen counseling, build a dual defense line of body and mind, and ensure that patients receive proper treatment during the epidemic.
NRR magazine has been around for 15 years since its inception in 2006, and I have accompanied NRR for 15 years, witnessing the growth of NRR from its birth to sci-inclusion, from JCR 4 to JCR 2. The impact factor of NRR in 2021 has exceeded 5 points, and has been selected as "China's Most Internationally Influential Academic Journal" for many consecutive years, becoming an important position for the publication of important research in neuroscience. In recent years, under the leadership of Academician Su Guohui and Professor Xu Xiaoming, the quality of manuscripts has become better and better, and the academic influence has become greater and greater, and I believe that in the foreseeable future, NRR will become a flagship journal in the field of international nerve regeneration. I hope that NRR will continue to maintain a good momentum of development, take advantage of the momentum, continue to work hard, and become the most influential top journal in the world as soon as possible!
