
Lu Shi, formerly known as Du Guanglian, also known as Du Bing, is the Guan Yue Lou. Born in 1937, his ancestral home is Yuncheng, Shandong. In 1955, he was admitted to the Ninth Aviation School of the People's Liberation Army Air Force of the Chinese with excellent results, and later became a glorious fighter pilot, flying aircraft to perform air defense missions many times, and in 1960, he was injured and transferred to local work. In 1961, he was admitted to the Chinese Painting Department of The Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts (now the China Academy of Art) with excellent results, and was taught by Pan Tianshou, Wu Maozhi, Zhu Lesan, Lu Weifei, and was instructed by masters such as Li Kuchan, Wu Zuoren, Lai Shaoqi, and Wang Gexuan. He is now a national first-class artist and professor.
