Wen Ying is currently a director of the Chinese Painting Society, a member of the China Artists Association, a painter of the Beijing Academy of Painting, the director of the Wang Xuetao Memorial Hall, an advisor to the Chinese Women Painters Association, an honorary president of the Beijing Women Artists Association, a librarian of the Beijing Literature and History Research Museum, and the president of the Beijing Nine-Three Calligraphy and Painting Institute.
Born in Beijing in 1941, he is the owner of Xuanxi Building and Yibai Mountain House. In 1956, he entered the Attached High School of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, studied at the Beijing Academy of Arts in 1960, and then transferred to the Central Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied under the famous printmaker Mr. Yan Huan, graduating in 1964. He has been engaged in art editing and art education for many years. She married Wang Long, a high school classmate who later became an art historian, and became the daughter-in-law of Mr. Wang Xuetao, a master of freehand flower and bird painting. In the past 40 years, he has been active in the Beijing painting circle and has become an important descendant of the Wang Xuetao Flower and Bird Painting School. And form a personal style with a rich atmosphere of the times. Returning to tradition and blending into the West, he has become a successful freehand flower and bird painter from a printmaker. At the same time, she is also involved in the study of the history of Chinese painting, and has made certain contributions to the inheritance and development of Chinese freehand flower and bird painting. Her works have participated in many domestic and foreign art exhibitions, won awards and been collected. He once created a huge work for the Purple Light Pavilion of the State Council, "National Color Brilliant", and "New Year Map" was selected as a special New Year card for the head of the Central Committee.
