Zhang Yongjin, zimuren, born in February 1943, is a native of Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province. He joined the Chinese Calligraphers Association in 1985 and is now a national senior calligrapher, a master of Chinese international art image, and a national ceremony artist. Vice Chairman of the National Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee, Executive President of the China General Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, Consultant of the China List Book Art Research Association, Honorary President of the China National Arts People's Calligraphy and Painting Academy. Distinguished Professor of the Oxford School of Art, member of the editorial board of the Sea of Calligraphy and the Great Dictionary of Calligraphy. In 2001, he held a solo exhibition at the National Art Museum of China. He has participated in many international and domestic large-scale book fairs, been selected into a variety of calligraphy dictionaries and international and domestic large-scale stamp albums, carved stones in many stele forests and seen door plaques. He has published works such as "The Art of Inscription Calligraphy". He has won the honors of National 100 Masters of Calligraphy and Painting, Top Ten Public Welfare Artists of Harmonious China, and Famous Artists of New China with Investment Value.
