Tiger Poker January 20, 2019 Today, the Nuggets officially announced that their three-way deal with the Celtics and Spurs has officially reached.
The Celtics traded forward Juan Hernangomez to the Spurs, the Spurs traded guard Brin Forbes to the Nuggets, and the Nuggets traded forward PJ Dozier and forward Pol Ball to the Celtics and the 2028 second-round pick to the Spurs.
According to The Boston Globe reporter Adam Himmelsbach, a source revealed that the Celtics created a $6.9 million trade exception in the deal, and in order to get Dozil and Pol, the Celtics used the remaining trade exceptions they got in the Kemba-Walker deal.
