Charlize Theron and other staff members accused Mr. Tang of a whole host of unprofessional behavior, including frequent tardiness that led to a group of staff waiting for him on set for hours.
Once, Ms. Tang was supposed to be on set at 8 a.m., when Charlize Theron had just become a mom and her child was in a nearby nursery. Although the producer told Teacher Tang not to be late, he was still more than three hours late. During this time, Charlize sat in the chariot and prepared to start shooting.
Finally waiting for Teacher Tang, Charlize asked him: "Do you really know how to respect people?" He also told the producers that he should be fined $100,000 for the crew's losses for every minute he was late.
Teacher Tang immediately rushed to her and shouted, "What are you talking about!? His words were rather aggressive, and Charlize felt threatened.
