Over the past few days, the volunteer service teams in Jimei District of Xiamen City have grasped this special time node of the previous year, actively held various volunteer service activities, warmed special groups with love, created a strong festive atmosphere, and spread the volunteer spirit of "dedication, fraternity, mutual assistance and progress" with practical actions.

On the morning of January 14, at the Jimei Aixin Elderly Apartment, accompanied by the life-like action password, volunteers led the elderly to do chair health exercises. Originally, Jimei Yinjiang Road Volunteer Service Station organized old, middle-aged and young volunteers to send warm love and sincere blessings to the elderly in the apartment. In addition to doing exercises, the volunteers also showed their skills, chatting with the elderly, interactive games, back massage, planting flowers and planting trees, so that the elderly can experience "the old have dependence, the old have support, and the old have fun".
On January 15, the Xinglin Street New Era Civilization Practice Volunteer Service Team, the Jimei District Comprehensive Branch of the Peasants' and Workers' Party, the Xinglin Street Party and Mass Service Center, and the Zengying Community New Era Civilization Practice Volunteer Service Team carried out the volunteer service activity of "Sympathy and Warmth for Households in Difficulty". The small volunteers splashed ink and created a pair of couplets with festive and auspicious meanings; party member volunteers led the small volunteers to the homes of the needy residents in the jurisdiction and sent them oil, rice, eggs, vegetables and Spring Festival.

On January 16th, Jimei District's Mother Lu Love Team organized 5 groups of volunteer service teams to visit the elderly in 29 households in the jurisdiction, and sent them spring festivals, condolences and holiday blessings. Inherit traditional culture and create a festive atmosphere
Leisurely ancient rhyme, thousands of knots. On the 15th, the Houxi Village New Era Civilization Practice Volunteer Service Team launched a volunteer service activity with the theme of "Our Festival • Spring Festival" to care for children in difficulty. In the activity, the volunteer teachers explained the culture of Chinese knots to the children and taught the weaving methods of Chinese knots by hand. Winding ropes, knotting, tassels... Under the guidance of volunteer teachers, strings of red and plump Chinese knots were born under the children's skillful hands. It is worth mentioning that these Chinese knots full of love and blessings are sent to the families of children in distress together with love materials, passing on warm blessings and love while inheriting traditional culture.
On the 14th, a Spring Festival celebration with the theme of "Sending Blessings with Pen and Ink Books and Happiness to Ten Thousand Homes" was held in Longshan Community.
