This year marks the fiftieth anniversary of Porsche' founding, and to commemorate the brand's fiftieth anniversary, Porsche has launched a special edition model based on the 911 Targa 4 GTS, which uses the design elements of the first model released by Porsche and has a very retro look. It is reported that the new car will be sold in a limited quantity of 750 units, which is expected to be delivered in April this year, and will be priced at 185,606 euros (about 1.336 million yuan).
In terms of appearance, the new car incorporates the design elements of the first Porsche 911 T 2.4 Targa model, the new car is painted in pure black, and the front face shape is basically the same as the current 911. On the side, the new car has a convertible design similar to the 911 T 2.4 Targa, with Porsche Design pullers above the side skirt and double five-spoke wheels at the bottom. At the same time, the tail styling has also been adjusted, and the tail radiator has the 50th anniversary logo on it. Inside, the new car incorporates a lot of retro elements, the seat headrests and center console are printed with the exclusive badge of the 50th anniversary special edition model, the co-pilot has a limited numbered nameplate on the front, and the central armrest bears the signature of the founder of Porsche.
The power section, the limited edition new car will be equipped with the same 3.0T twin-turbo six-cylinder engine as the 911 Targa 4 GTS. With a maximum power of 353 kW and a peak torque of 569 N·m, the drivetrain is matched with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and a 7-speed manual transmission option with an acceleration time of less than 3.5 seconds per 100 km/h.
