Li Bai was the father of China's radio waves, one of the top ten red agents of the CCP's hidden front, and one of the 100 heroic and exemplary figures who made outstanding contributions to the founding of New China. He fought for a long time in the heart of the enemy, sending key information for the War of Resistance Against Japan and the War of Liberation.
Li Bai was born in May 1910 to a poor peasant family in Banxi Village, Hunan Province, and dropped out of school to work at the age of 13. In 1930, he joined the Red Army, because of his flexible mind and amazing memory, he was transferred to the headquarters of the Red Army in 1934 to study radio detection technology, and after graduation, he was transferred to the Fifth Red Army as a radio director. After the Long March arrived in northern Shaanxi, he quickly threw himself into the teaching of radio technology, hoping to train more professional spies for the revolutionary cause.
After the Lugou Bridge Incident in 1937, the organization assigned him from Yan'an to Shanghai to take charge of secret radio work, and began underground lurking work under the cover of a businessman, building an air bridge between Yan'an and Shanghai.

Until his death, the old family did not know that he was engaged in dangerous work, and in the family letter, he was always an ordinary son who loved his family and was considerate and filial.

After the liberation of Shanghai on May 27, 1949, Li Kenong urgently called The Mayor of Shanghai, Chen Yi, hoping to find Li Bai. Chen Yi immediately issued a document No. 008 to the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau: "Comrade Li Jing'an of the Shanghai Underground Party is missing, Trauscha." ”
After more than a month of investigations by the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau and Li Bai's wife, Qiu Huiying, they finally learned that Li Bai had been secretly executed and found his body.
After a solemn memorial service was held, Comrade Li Bai was posthumously recognized as a revolutionary martyr and buried in the Longhua Martyrs Cemetery. Li Kenong personally went to Shanghai Longhua Cemetery to pay homage to him, deeply remembering his close comrade-in-arms.

On January 13, 1951, Ye Danqiu was sentenced to death by the Shanghai Municipal People's Court and immediately executed.
