Recently, the Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Research Group composed of 6 students from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine went to Pingyin County and other places in Jinan City on January 11 to carry out the "Hometown to See Qilu" winter vacation social survey activity, which aims to conduct in-depth research on the cultivation, breeding, pest control and processing technology of roses and promote the research and promotion of a series of product processing technologies, and truly feel the innovative development of traditional Chinese medicine.

Pingyin rose has the medicinal value of rational qi and depressive, and blood stasis, and at the same time has the advantage of flowers and large flavors, in order to find the scientific and technological core of Pingyin rose town rose. The research team planned to go to the only rose professional research institute in the country - Pingyin County Rose Research Institute for field research. Appreciate the charm of traditional Chinese medicine culture, and integrate the concept of "inheriting the essence, abiding by integrity and innovation" into the daily professional study of traditional Chinese medicine.

Director Guo first took us to the Pingyin Rose Stage Development Introduction Area, introducing us to the three cross-time and space-spanning eras of Pingyin Rose, from the sixth century AD to the pre-1991 variety age, from 1991 to the present strain age, and from 2000 to the brand era.

Director Guo said: "Molecular distillation technology has now come to the forefront of the world, with high separation efficiency, natural, energy saving and other characteristics in line with the national strategic goal of energy reduction and emission reduction. "With the help of these technologies and policies, Pingyin Rose has participated in the reshaping of the global rose industry value chain, improved the competitiveness and share of Chinese rose products in domestic and foreign markets, and promoted china's rose industry to move towards the middle and high end of the global value chain."

When we personally visited and touched these varieties of rose products and listened to Director Guo's explanation, we deeply felt the charm brought by the innovative development of traditional Chinese medicine.

After that, we walked into the rose visit garden, according to Director Guo, at present, the county has planted more than 60,000 mu of roses, with an average yield of 1,000 jin per mu, creating economic benefits of more than 6,000 yuan, which has greatly stimulated the local economic development. Despite the cold winter, rose branches are still everywhere.

Director Tanaka Kukuo introduced us to dozens of rose varieties, among which there are the abundant roses and purple branch roses that they are most proud of independent breeding and cultivation, which have become the main varieties of roses promoted in China, with strong disease resistance, floral fragrance, medicinal and food homologous characteristics.
