The report pointed out that last year, Shanghai's pollution reduction and carbon reduction were vigorously promoted. Formulate carbon peak carbon neutrality implementation opinions and carbon peak implementation plans, and the national carbon emission trading market will be put into operation in Shanghai.

At the same time, the eighth round of environmental protection three-year action plan was launched, the treatment of volatile organic compounds in 1,042 industrial enterprises was completed, 84,000 national third diesel vehicles were eliminated, and 254,000 new energy vehicles were promoted and applied, reaching a total of 677,000 vehicles.

Gong Zheng said that last year, Shanghai achieved zero landfill of native domestic garbage, and the effectiveness of the pollution prevention and control battle ranked first in the country.
