The invention that changed the course of human history - Lumiere, the inventor of cinema

author:Prayer of the Heart 9

In December 1895, the French scientist Louis Lumiere actually developed the world's first film. Since then, people's activities have often been shown through movies. Movies allow humans to realistically show their words and deeds, and thus be loved by men, women and children. The film industry has developed rapidly, and it has become an important part of people's lives.

As early as 1887, the American inventor Edison, inspired by the "display" made of photographs, established a research institute dedicated to the study of film. However, because he was unable to solve the problem of "one move and one stop" in the transmission of film films, the research work was aborted.

From 1894 onwards, the French scientist Louis Lumiere inherited Edison's unfinished business and was determined to overcome the problem of film development and make a real film.

Lumiere was born into a family of workers in Paris, France. He was smart and studious from an early age. When she was a child, when her mother was sewing clothes, young Lumiere often gathered around the sewing machine, asking this and that, and asking for an understanding.

One night in the late autumn of 1894, lumiere, while designing a simulated pattern for motion picture film transmission, suddenly thought: When sewing clothes on a sewing machine, isn't the cloth moving forward in a "one move, one stop" manner? Isn't that very similar to the way motion picture film needs to be delivered? So Lumiere was very excited to find her brother Auguste, and the brothers discussed the design of film teleportation.

After many trials, lumiere's design of the film film transmission method is indeed feasible. Afterwards, August wrote in an article: "My brother invented the moving motion picture machine in one night. ”

On December 28, 1895, it was a Japanese son who caused a sensation around the world. In Paris, many celebrities were invited by Lumiere to the basement of the Grand Café at 14 Rue Dei Pussin to watch a movie. In the dark, the audience sees the picture on the screen very realistic.

One reporter reported this: "A carriage was driven by a flying horse and came running head-on. My neighbor was a beautiful young lady who was so frightened by this that she suddenly stood up screaming. ”

Lumiere completed Edison's unfinished business of inventing cinema, developing the first film in the world. The birth of cinema has had an extremely important impact on human beings to display their own activities, carry out scientific research, and enrich cultural life.

As a result, December 28, 1895, was designated as the birth day of cinema and Lumiere was called the "father of modern cinema."
