Its calligraphy is characterized by its free- and unrestrained, vigorous and quaint. The style of calligraphy originated from calligraphy giants such as Huai Su and Wang Xizhi. His works have been collected by the State Guesthouse in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, the Shaoshan Memorial Hall and politicians at home and abroad, and have been printed into stamps by the General Administration of the State Post for many times, issued nationwide, and in 2020, due to Wei Zigui's special contributions in poetry, books and paintings, he was awarded the "Chinese National Ceremony" artist, with a calligraphy fee of 8000 / square foot.
