This sentence is a couplet written by the Qianlong Emperor when he was seventy years old, which means: From ancient times to the present, only six emperors have lived to the age of seventy, and I am one of them, but I am the only one who has achieved the same hall for five generations. The arrogance expressed in the words overflowed into words, which showed how spirited the Qianlong Emperor was at that time.
There is also a story about this stone stele, in order to celebrate his seventieth birthday and promote the national prestige of the Qing Dynasty, the Qianlong Emperor had four stone tablets carved, one of which is located on Sakhalin Island. The four stele were placed at the easternmost, southernmost, westernmost, and northernmost points of the Chinese map at that time, with the northernmost one on Sakhalin Island.
The Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty was the most prosperous period of the Qing Dynasty, and these four stone tablets are a witness. However, in the later years of the Qianlong Emperor, the national strength of the Qing Dynasty had gradually declined, and in the face of Russia and Japan's eye for Sakhalin Island, the Qing government had more than enough and was insufficient, and could only allow Russia and Japan to invade Sakhalin Island.
The stone stele of the Qianlong Emperor was also buried under Sakhalin Island because of the war.
