Later, the Xiangtan police were forced to change the conclusion of not filing a case under pressure and for various reasons, and determined that Huang Jing's case was a criminal case, so 4 months after the incident, Jiang Junwu was taken into criminal detention.
On August 2, 2004, the Xiangtan Municipal Procuratorate adopted the recommendation of the Public Security Department and conducted the sixth autopsy on the case, and the final conclusion given by the forensic doctor was that Huang Jing had died due to the special formal activities carried out by Jiang Junwu under the premise of potential lesions, which was also the final judgment of the case.
Jiang Junwu did not intentionally kill people, but he still needed to bear part of the civil liability, so on July 2, 2006, three years after Huang Jing's naked death, Jiang Junwu was formally arrested by the police, compensated the victim 50,000 yuan, and was released after only a few months of detention.
