As a moviegoer, I recently watched another good movie, which is "Hot Air Balloon Pilot".
The film tells a story that takes place more than a hundred years ago in 1862, the wife of a hot air balloon pilot, Emilia, after the death of her husband, who is also a hot air balloon pilot, who left his life to his wife when he was in distress at a high altitude flight with his wife, and continued the dream of hot air balloon flight, together with scientist Glaisher, taking a hot air balloon to a higher altitude to explore the unknown.
The film's story composition and detailed handling have been questioned by some. For example, in the historical facts, the hot air balloon pilot who flew into the sky with the scientist was a man, but the director of the film turned him into a woman; when the hot air balloon flew to the sky to land, in fact, the pilot used his teeth to bite the rope to open the pressure relief valve when he was frozen and did not listen to the call, but in the film, she became the heroine in a huge balloon, climbing hard to the top of the balloon at a height of 10,000 meters, cutting with a knife and kicking to open the pressure relief valve;
Even in "Hot Air Balloon Pilot", the balloon to be taken by the flight is not a hot air balloon? What is the heating unit like? The film also does not explain clearly. Some people directly think that it is not a hot air balloon.
Also, in the film, a pilot, a scientist, when exploring unknown high-altitude flight, why can't a little more meticulous preparation be done? For example, the scientist Greischer did not wear thick clothes and did not prepare gloves, where does his rigor as a scientist come from?
However, I think that so many questionable places cannot eliminate the encouragement, motivation, emotion and enthusiasm that the story of this film brings to the viewers. I think that as an artistic creation, the director through a fictional story based on multi-faceted historical facts, whether the ideas and spirit to be conveyed can really make the viewers feel, whether there is a positive impact on the viewers, this is the most important.
This movie makes me feel that the key to the strength and weakness of every woman in her own small environment is to rely on herself, no matter what era, the courage to pursue the dream of life is brilliant.
The story of the heroine in the film flying high in the air is in 1862. The lives of women in the nineteenth century as a whole, whether in Europe or Asia, or in China, were in a passive subordinate position, and the vast majority of women's lives were still confined to the family. For example, in the 19th century, women in the United States and britain did not have the right to vote, and this did not change until the beginning of the 20th century.
However, the heroine of the story, Emilia, dared to pursue her dreams in such a big environment and became a hot air balloon pilot, which was a miracle in the women's community in that era. Although the character of Emilia is fictional, there are female balloon pilots in history. This was Sophie Blanchard (25 March 1778 – 6 July 1819), a Frenchman, the wife of a balloon pilot, who, after her husband's death, continued to do balloon flight tests and eventually died in a balloon flight accident.
Whether it is the fictional Emilia or the historical Factual Sophie Blanchett, they have broken through the confinement of the environment at that time, worked hard for their dreams, and become women who have attracted the attention of the world.
Today, on the other hand, worldwide, with the development of the economy, the awareness of equality between men and women has made great progress compared with more than a hundred years ago, and women can participate in social work like men, have the right to vote, learn various knowledge and skills, and so on. Regrettably, however, women are still discriminated against to such an outrageous level today.
For example, in recent news, a girl was abused to death by her husband's family, and the court representing social evaluation imposed only a very light sentence on her mother-in-law and husband. The dead girl was married to another man by her family for thousands of dollars. In another news, a man beat his wife to death in the street. I don't know what this man will be treated. I think that no matter what this wife does, she cannot be killed in the street, which is an extreme contempt for her life and a provocation to the rule of law.
Comparing women in the 19th century and today, from the perspective of individual women, it is not difficult to see whether women can live freely and happily, and whether they can go in the direction they want, the key is to look at their own ability, attitude and determination.
As a woman at any time, we must strive to improve our abilities, have the courage to pursue our dreams, and resolutely say no to bullying. I remember reading such a sentence in the news comment above that abused my wife: One stick to kill, and one stick a day to fight for three years, which is worse? In fact, they are all extremely bad.
Female friends, look at the pioneers who chased freedom and dreams more than a hundred years ago, and look at the sisters who are abused and bullied today, may be inspired by this: Today, we have more freedom and participation in social life to achieve their dreams, if we are still discriminated against today, we need courage and determination to change all this.
