On January 18, the reporter learned from the Guangxi Meteorological Bureau that from January 14 to 18, Guangxi seized the favorable weather conditions and carried out large-scale artificial rain increase operations, alleviating drought and improving soil moisture. This day and tomorrow, the rainy weather is intermittent, but the low temperature weather in northern Guizhou continues, and there is ice or frost in parts of northern Guizhou and alpine mountains. Starting from the 20th, Guangxi will start a new round of rainy weather.

According to reports, from January 16 to 18, affected by the south branch trough and cold air, most of Guangxi had moderate to heavy rain and localized heavy rain. According to rain statistics, from 20:00 on January 15 to 08:00 on January 18, there were 202 townships in 7 cities and 41 counties (districts) at 50-100 mm, 509 townships in 11 cities and 78 counties (districts) in 25-50 mm, 480 townships in 14 cities and 68 counties (districts) in 10-25 mm, and the largest was 86.7 mm in Anning Town, Jingxi County, Baise City.

From January 14 to 18, the shadow departments at all levels in the region seized the favorable weather conditions and carried out large-scale artificial rain increase operations with the strong support of the Air Force, civil aviation and other relevant departments, and 42 counties (districts) in 13 cities in the region carried out 67 artificial rain and hail prevention operations on the ground; carried out 3 aircraft rain increase operations, flying about 11.4 hours, and operating mileage of about 2280 kilometers.

Under the joint action of natural rainfall and artificial rain increase operations, according to the meteorological drought monitoring on the 17th, the counties (districts) above the middle drought in the early stage have been lifted. Artificial rain increase has played a positive role in alleviating drought, improving soil moisture, increasing water storage in Shantang Reservoir, and helping energy and electricity supply.

From January 16 to 18, the temperature in most parts of the region dropped by 3 to 6 °C, and the local temperature dropped by 7 to 9 °C. There is frost or freezing in the alpine mountains of northern Guizhou. There are 5 to 6 grades in the northeast and coastal areas of Guizhou, and gusts of 7 to 9 are of greater north winds.

This day and tomorrow, the rainy weather is intermittent, but the low temperature weather in northern Guizhou continues, and there is ice or frost in parts of northern Guizhou and alpine mountains. Since the 20th, Guangxi has turned to rainy weather again.

Tonight to tomorrow, the whole district is cloudy. There is ice or frost in the alpine mountains of northern Guizhou. The minimum temperature in various places: -4 ~ 0 °C in alpine mountains, 1 ~ 7 °C in northern Guizhou, 7 ~ 12 °C in southern Guizhou.

On the 20th, guibei and guixi were cloudy and cloudy, with light rain, local moderate rain, and other areas in our region were cloudy. There is ice or frost in the alpine mountains of northern Guizhou. The minimum temperature in various places: 0 ~ 4 °C in alpine mountains, 5 ~ 11 °C in northern Guizhou, 10 ~ 14 °C in southern Guizhou.

On the 21st, there was light rain on a cloudy day in the whole region, of which there was moderate to heavy rain in the northeast of Guizhou. The minimum temperature in guibei is 7~12°C in northern Guizhou and 13~17°C in southern Guizhou.
