Xiling Printing Society focuses on displaying "Minhai Printing Style"

Fuzhou, 18 Jan (China News Network) -- The "Fujian Sea Printing Style -- Exhibition of The Achievements of Fujian Members of the Xiling Printing Society," sponsored by the Fujian Provincial Federation of Literature and Literature and the Xiling Printing Agency, opened on 17 January at the Fujian Strait Folk Art Museum.

Mr. Chen Zhenlian, Vice Chairman of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Advisor of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, Vice President and Secretary General of Xiling Printing Society, congratulated the exhibition title "Minhai Printing Style", and Mr. Wang Hongwei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Executive Deputy Secretary General and Deputy Director of the Social Committee of Xiling Printing Society, congratulated the video recording of the exhibition. Wang Qiumei, secretary of the party group of the Fujian Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, announced the opening of the exhibition.

With the purpose of "preserving gold stones, studying printing, and painting and calligraphy", the "Xiling Printing Society" has gone through more than 100 years of glorious history, during which seven presidents are famous all over the world (Wu Changshuo, Ma Heng, Zhang Zongxiang, Sha Menghai, Zhao Puchu, Qi Gong, Rao Zongyi), and countless celebrity members gathered to jointly create the charming humanistic style of Xiling Printing Society, and enjoy the reputation of "the world's first society".

Since the founding of xiling printing society, there has been no shortage of fujian members, and Pan Zhonglan, who is known as "North and South Lanting" with Mr. Qigong, and Zhou Zhewen, who was a director of Xiling Printing Society, are among them. Since then, whether they live in Fujian, or live in other places or abroad, generation after generation of Fujian Xiling members have contributed to the inheritance, dissemination and exchange of golden stone seal carvings with their unique creations and solid and stable scholarship.

This "Xiling Seal Society Fujian Nationality Members Achievements Exhibition" covers the works of sixteen Fujian Xiling members from the late Pan Zhonglan and Zhou Zhewen today, with new and old juxtaposition and diverse styles, which not only shows the inheritance and development of Fujian seal engraving for classics such as Qin han seal and Ming and Qing dynasty school seals, but also shows the new interpretation of ancient gold stone materials by seal carvers in the new period, which is a concentrated display of the seal carving style of fujian modern and contemporary gold stone calligraphy and painting.

One of the highlights of this exhibition is the display of the works of two calligraphy and seal engravers, Pan Zhonglan and Zhou Zhewen. Pan Zhonglan has been studying poetry, calligraphy and painting for more than 70 years, and has made great achievements in poetry, calligraphy, painting and printing, philology, and Shoushan stone culture. In terms of seal engraving, Zhou Zhewen studied the Qin and Han Dynasties, touched Zhejiang and Anhui, integrated all the families, and became a style of its own, and the number of seals and the breadth of The Indian language in the past few decades are rare; the calligraphy skills are profound, full of enthusiasm, and full of Ming and Qing celebrity style.

In his speech at the opening ceremony, Wang Laiwen, member of the party leading group of the Fujian Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, secretary of the Secretariat, vice chairman, and chairman of the Provincial Artists Association, stressed that the members of the Xiling Printing Society are elites, and they are artistically accomplished and have social influence.

Liang Zhangkai, a representative of the participating authors and director of the Xiling Seal Society, said that through the exhibition, he deeply felt the enthusiasm and responsibility of the members of the Xiling Printing Society of Fujian Province for the art of jinshi, and had the responsibility to carry out more solid and stable artistic creation and academic research on the existing basis, show the style of the Fujian people through the golden stone seal carving, and strive to spread the excellent humanistic history of Fujian to the rest of the world.
