Today I would like to share with you "The Psychic Boy Norman" released in the United States in August 2012, directed by Chris Butler and Sam Phil. Behind the scenes, "Ghost Mother" shared with the early stage is the same class. The film uses fantasy and horror elements to create a visual effect of black horror, suitable for people of all ages to watch, which is worth pondering.

The story is about a boy named Norman, who, unlike other children, always speaks into the air, causing him to be a freak in the eyes of other children, always being bullied by others in school. Even in the eyes of his parents, Norman did not look like a normal child.
On this day, Norman went to school as usual. The neighbors looked at Norman with strange looks at the strange conversations that Norman had in the empty aisle. But Norman's eyes were full of "people", and he greeted them naturally. Only then did Norman look like a "normal" boy.
At school, Norman, they were rehearsing a play, and the teacher told them that this was a real historical event in the town, and 7 Puritans tried and unanimously decided to execute a witch to restore peace to their town. But the students did not really understand the significance of this, and turned the serious trial scene into a funny scene.
After class, Norman walks home with his chubby classmates whom he has newly met ("with the same disease"). Suddenly, out of the statue of the witch came a nervous man, who turned out to be Norman's uncle, with whom Norman's parents had been strictly forbidden to associate. The uncle warns Norman that the curse of the witch in the events of the town's history is true, and that Norman must take action.
Fat invites Norman to his house, and they play with Fat's former pet dog. In this play, Norman's friendship with Fat fat was further sublimated, and Norman truly became good friends with Fat Fat. At the same time, Norman's uncle hurried home, and the moment he picked up a book, he died suddenly, and fell straight on the floor of the house...
The rehearsal of the play was finally held as scheduled, and Norman's family and surrounding neighbors came to watch the play rehearsed by the school organization. But during the performance, Norman suddenly found that the surrounding scene gradually changed from the stage to the dark woods, and the surrounding classmates disappeared, accompanied by a series of crusades, Norman ran in horror. At this time, the eyes of the surrounding students and the audience saw Norman jumping off the stage with a panicked face, and finally the play ended in such an indescribable atmosphere.
On the way home, Norman's father was disappointed in him, leaving Norman depressed. But her mother enlightened him: "Sometimes people say seemingly mean things, but they are just because they are afraid. Your dad wasn't afraid of you, he was afraid of you."
In the school bathroom, the uncle's soul finds Norman. He told Norman that the time was running out, that he must take the book he had held in his hand when he died, and go to the place where the witch was burned before sunset, and read out the book in its entirety, so that bad luck would not come to this town! "But I'm still a kid, what can I do?" Norman asked. But the uncle could not answer, he had completed his mission and gone.
Fat came downstairs to Norman's house and wanted to find him to play baseball. Norman told his uncle about coming to him and refused The Fat's invitation, but he decided to do it anyway. Norman rode his bicycle to his uncle's house, drew the book out of his uncle's hand, and hurried to the cemetery, where the sun was approaching sunset.
Norman opened the book to find that it was a bedtime storybook. Just when he doubted the authenticity of the event, Alvin suddenly appeared, snatched the book from Norman's hand, and made a mockery. As the two sides argue, the sun sets completely and the night falls, and seven zombies crawl out of the cemetery and walk towards Norman. They fled in horror. On the other hand, Norman's sister finds Norman not at home, seeks the help of Fat Fat and his brother, drives to find Norman and successfully meets him.
It turned out that Norman had found the wrong cemetery, and the remedy could only be calmed by finding the witch's grave and completing the recitation ceremony. Norman learns by telephone that the witch was being tried at the Old Town Hall on Main Street, where ken has archives recording the burial information of that year. So Norman and his party went to the Old Town Hall, and the zombies arrived. As the zombies chased After Norman, Norman climbed the ladder, and he looked at the enraged witch in the night sky and began to recite the contents of the book, but to no avail. Norman asks the witch why she did this, and the witch burns the book in his hand, and he falls into the darkness, and the truth behind it slowly appears to Norman.
In the old town hall, seven inquisitors are trying a girl of Norman's age, and the reason for this is that the girl communicates with the deceased, causing them to panic as adults, ignore the girl's explanation, and finally hang the girl. Norman was shocked by this truth, "How do you do it?" She's still a little kid and she's no different from me! Norman questioned the zombies sadly. However, the zombie's answer makes Norman very angry, because Norman can also communicate with the dead, and they hope that Norman will go to the witch's grave and continue to recite the bedtime story to make the witch sleep again, so that they can return to the tomb. Norman angrily smashes the fairy tale book at the zombie, unwilling to treat a girl who has been hurt in this way.
Norman arrives at the girl's (Agatha's) grave, where he tries to talk to her. But the enraged girl did not have the patience to communicate with him, and even attacked Norman. "Someone must have loved you and cared about you, don't you remember?" You're not alone, you must remember," Norman told her patiently, and took her hand in time for her rampage.
The girl remembered her mother, who had loved her dearly, but had never seen her since she had been taken away. Under the tree where she was once buried, she gradually found her lost self. But her mother had long since passed away, and she was sorry and tired, and at last she went to sleep on Norman's shoulder. The girl's figure gradually became transparent, and at this moment, she finally let go of the pain in her heart.
In fact, many times, many things, there are very few people who really understand you. They can't even understand, or even reject, isolate you. But we always have to understand that the opinions of insignificant people are not to be feared. There are always people who treat you as they always have, and they weave an eternal barrier with love, so that you are non-toxic and inviolable, so that you have enough time to precipitate yourself and strengthen yourself.
