Recently, Ford Motor officially released a new generation of Ford Mondeo at the newly unveiled Ford China Design Center, as a model built with a new "potential energy aesthetics" design language, the new generation of Mondeo not only fully integrates the essence of Ford design and the aesthetic cognition of contemporary Chinese consumer trends, but also presents the latest progress in the integration of forward-looking technology and humanized experience and design, and has become a strong competitor in the B-class car. It is reported that the new car is designed by The Ford China Design Center and will be handed over to Changan Ford for production and will be officially listed within this year.

The new generation of Ford Mondeo
From the appearance, the new generation of Ford Mondeo changed the previous design and looked quite aggressive. The front face adopts the design language of "potential energy aesthetics", which is more similar to the previously launched Ford Evos. It uses a larger air intake grille, and the headlights on both sides are also connected to the grille, which is combined with the newly designed lower bracket to make the front face look very sporty. From the side, the car adopts a sneaky coupe style design, the door handle adopts a hidden design similar to Tesla to reduce wind resistance, and the slightly prominent wheel arches and front fenders give the car a beautiful side line. The most conspicuous element of the tail is probably a pair of LED taillights whose design seems inspired by the Ford Mustang Mach E, with three vertical lines. Although the car features a concealed exhaust pipe, a diffuser attached to the bumper adds a nice sense of sport.
The new Mondeo has a length, width and height of 4935mm/1875mm/1500mm, and a wheelbase of 2945mm, which has an improved wheelbase compared to the previous generation, and the nearly 3-meter wheelbase also gives the car a spacious rear space, which brings a comfortable ride. In terms of power, the new generation of Ford Mondeo uses the same 2.0T engine as the Ford EOVS, which has a maximum power of 184 horsepower and a peak torque of 376N·m, which is matched by an 8-speed manual transmission.
