Relying on years of trial and error, he founded a dyeing factory in his youth, because of his own diligence and good craftsmanship, the business became more and more prosperous, and then slowly contacted other businesses, and finally accumulated a fruitful family business and became a well-known local rich family.
Life is good, but it is not easy along the way, Jian Chengyan once felt: "Starting with a pair of hands, these years have suffered a loss of no culture."

At this critical moment, some young people who advocated revolution dared to join our Party, and Jian Xianren was one of them, and later she also participated in the Nianguan Rebellion in early 1928.
Joined the Red Army
Because the uprising was counterattacked by the enemy and soon failed, the reactionary authorities refused to give up, continued to search for the escaped personnel, and the hidden Jian Xianren met He Long's team in Shimen Beixiang, so she and her eldest brother Jian Xianwei joined the Red Army together.
At that time, the training team just established by the Red Fourth Army was missing a cultural instructor, and the arrival of The first to take office filled this vacancy. At the opening ceremony of the training team, He Long introduced Jian Xianren to everyone on the stage:
"This is our instructor, the first female Red Army member of our Red Fourth Army in western Hunan Province, the first female party member, although she is a new soldier, she has more than three years of revolutionary struggle experience. I hope that you will respect her in the future, obey the orders, and strive to complete the training task."
After listening to this remark, Jian Xianren did not expect that the famous Commander He Jun, speaking kindly and very encouragingly, listened warmly in his heart. She did not expect that a year later, this famous Red Army general would become her husband, the most important man in her life.
In 1930, according to the instructions of her superiors, He Long led an army to the Honghu area to create a new revolutionary base area, and a few months later, without the company of her husband, she gave birth to her daughter Honghong. Seeing her lovely daughter, she immediately felt the joy and sense of responsibility as a mother, but a crisis was coming.
At that time, the enemy took advantage of the emptiness of the troops in the Xiang'e Western Soviet Region and raised troops to "advance and suppress", and Jian Xianren could only take his children to hide in the mountains and forests, and even if the young life could withstand such a toss, she eventually died, and she was unfortunately arrested by the townspeople. Later, He Long led a team to attack the county seat of Cili county, and visited his father-in-law's family with his wife, and later after the Red Army withdrew, Jian Xianren's sister Jian Xianfo and younger brother Jian Xianchao also joined the Red Army. In fact, as early as more than a year ago, Jian Xianwei was sacrificed, and the two sisters and brothers also clearly understood the danger of joining the revolution, but under the teaching of their sister and the support of their father, they joined the Red Army without hesitation.

Jian Xianren suffered from a serious gynecological disease because he did not get a good rest after giving birth, and later found that he had lost his right to be a mother forever. In 1942, after returning from treatment and study in Moscow, she voluntarily dissolved her marriage contract with Mr. He (there are also saying that there are problems with the relationship between husband and wife). Because she felt that the he family had made such a great sacrifice for the revolution and could not be broken because of her own reasons, she ended the relationship with pain.
Perhaps it is because of her loyalty to her relationship with Mr. He, or perhaps because of her own reasons, she has never formed a new family in this life after divorce. After returning to China, she served as the chief of the security section of the Jichareliao Bureau Military Region, and after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, she went to the northeast and became the deputy secretary of the Harbin Municipal Party Committee and the secretary of the Shenyang Dongguan District Party Committee.
After the founding of New China, she was transferred to the secretary of the County Party Committee of Cili County, became the parent official of the people of her hometown, and in her later years he was transferred to the Central Organization Department as deputy secretary-general, leaving in 1985 and retiring.
On the eve of the founding of New China, she took her daughter from her hometown to her side, and under her careful training, He Jiesheng was later admitted to the history department of Peking University and became a high-achieving student, this year his father He Long and uncle Xiao Ke were awarded the ranks of marshal and general at the award ceremony.
