At about 14:00 on January 12, after the permeability accident at the Guanzhou Hydropower Station, the Four Units of the National Energy Group Dadu River Geshiza, Monkey Rock, Maintenance, and Danba Hydropower Company dispatched personnel to set up a party member vanguard rescue team, and dispatched a total of 15 vehicles and 57 personnel to carry submersible pumps, emergency diesel generators, water pipes, cable drainage pumps, electrical operation equipment, high-power maintenance lighting equipment, water work uniforms and other rescue tools to urgently aid the Guanzhou Power Station.

In the face of practical difficulties such as high rescue risk coefficient, narrow operation surface, and large vertical drop in the pumping area, the rescue team of Daduhe Company, in accordance with the dispatch of the joint command of on-site disaster relief, fully cooperates with the formulation of the rescue plan, provides technical support in rescue technology, project management, operation safety, etc., and in the shortest possible time, uses the existing equipment to connect the available power supply, and creates favorable conditions for the rapid completion of drainage and the search and rescue of missing persons.

In the temperature of the Kangzang Plateau near zero, various unconventional technical challenges at the accident site followed, and the on-site lighting was seriously lacking, and the available equipment and tools were insufficient. The rescue team members raced against the clock, using the materials they carried, combined with the on-site conditions of local materials and local transformation, overcame the dilemma of the vertical height difference between the available power supply and the working surface of more than 70 meters, smoothly pulled the cable to the designated platform, and used the cables, air switches, diesel generators and other tools and materials to complete the construction of the sewage pump power supply and drainage system, and fully undertook the work of tailwater drainage of the power station.
