Beijing, January 17 (China Youth Network) -- A few days ago, the "Children's Winter Olympics - The Second National Children's Painting Exhibition" opened at the China Women and Children's Museum. More than 300 masterpieces carefully selected from the 2022 works in the exhibition are divided into four chapters: "My Childhood Winter Olympic Dream", "Dexterous Little Hand Painting Winter Olympics", "Ice and Snow Welcoming Spring And Joy", and "Hand in Hand to Strive for the Future". Cai Shumin, Vice President of the All-China Women's Federation, Secretary of the Secretariat and Director of the China Museum of Women and Children, attended the opening ceremony and presented certificates to the participating authors and guidance teacher representatives.

Kou Huping, executive deputy director of the China Women and Children's Museum, revealed at the opening ceremony that the collection of works in the exhibition lasted for half a year and attracted about 300,000 children from 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities. A total of more than 20,000 electronic works were collected, and 2,022 of them were selected to participate in the on-site re-evaluation after expert review, and more than 300 works were finally selected for the exhibition. At the same time, some of the works have also become important gifts for the guests participating in the Winter Olympic Games.
According to reports, the scope of this collection of works covers 31 provinces, autonomous regions and cities, the theme of the painting is prominent, the content is rich, through the ice and snow pictures full of childlike fun, showing the good wishes of children to welcome the Winter Olympics, advocating the Olympic spirit, loving the sports scene of ice and snow sports and the firm confidence of "going to the future together". The collection of works for the Winter Olympics has been actively responded to and actively participated by the majority of children, and the children have used the paintbrush in their hands to dye out the "Winter Olympic Dream" in their hearts, and what is particularly touching is that the children from the special education schools have also expressed their praise and hope for the Winter Olympics with paintings, and feel the warmth of "snow melting" in the cold winter.
Zhao Nannan, the world champion of short track speed skating, also came to the opening ceremony of the exhibition, she shared her ice and snow sports story, and said: "In 2022, I hope that my little brothers and sisters will achieve excellent results in the beijing field in China, and hope that they will get their own Olympic medals and even gold medals!" ”
