Welcome to the Winter Olympics! More than 300 children's paintings were carried out in Beijing

Beijing, January 14 (Guangming Net) -- The "Children's Winter Olympics - The Second National Children's Painting Exhibition" opened at the China Women and Children's Museum on january 14. More than 300 masterpieces carefully selected from the 2022 works are divided into four chapters: "My Childhood Winter Olympic Dream", "Dexterous Little Hand Painting Winter Olympics", "Ice and Snow Welcoming Spring And Joy", and "Hand in Hand to The Future".

Cai Shumin, Vice President of the All-China Women's Federation, Secretary of the Secretariat and Director of the China Museum of Women and Children, attended the opening ceremony and presented certificates to the participating authors and guidance teacher representatives. The collection of works covers 31 provinces, autonomous regions and cities, the theme of the paintings is prominent, the content is rich, through the innocent and childlike ice and snow pictures, showing the children's good wishes for the Winter Olympics, advocating the Olympic spirit, loving the sports scene of ice and snow sports and the firm confidence of "going to the future together". The collection of works for the Winter Olympics has been actively responded to and actively participated by the majority of children, and the children have used the paintbrush in their hands to dye out the "Winter Olympic Dream" in their hearts, and what is particularly touching is that the children from the special education schools have also expressed their praise and hope for the Winter Olympics with paintings, and feel the warmth of "snow melting" in the cold winter.

The exhibition is co-sponsored by the Family and Children's Work Department of the All-China Women's Federation and the China Women and Children's Museum, and is strongly supported by the Cultural Activities Department and the Press and Propaganda Department of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee. Responsible comrades of the Working Committee of the Central committee and state organs, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the All-China Women's Federation, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the State General Administration of Sports, the China Working Committee for Caring for the Next Generation, the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee and other relevant departments, as well as representatives of schools, children and parents, attended the event.

The exhibition will run until March 15, 2022, during which a wealth of winter Olympic ice and snow experiences and practical activities will be held.
