A little longer, the tailor was mutilated by the Kuomintang, and Liu Changyi and his teachers and friends regarded him as the closest person besides his parents, and now that the master has been killed, Liu Changyi has a vengeful anger in his heart.
When the local Red Army was recruiting, Liu Changyi immediately went to register with more than a dozen other poor children in the village after learning the news, and at the registration office, Liu Changyi showed his temperament for the first time.
It turned out that one of the children who had registered together was full of hemp, and one was full of sores, and the staff of the recruitment office said that they would not accept these two people, and Liu Changyi immediately replied: "Isn't it revolutionary if the hemp is paralyzed?" This rhetorical question left the staff speechless, and they eventually recruited the two children together.
Liu Changyi's bravery was gradually revealed in the army, he joined the army at the age of 15, showed great masculinity at a boyish age, soon became a platoon leader, and joined the Communist Party two years after joining the army.
In several anti-"encirclement and suppression" battles of the Red Army, Liu Changyi successively served as a company instructor and regimental commander, and he led his troops to fight bravely, and Liu Changyi's troops always held the spirit of seeing death as a homecoming and charged at the forefront.
Under the influence of Liu Changyi, his subordinates and other troops also heroically resisted the enemy and made great achievements for the victory of anti-encirclement and suppression.
However, because he was always fighting on the front line, Liu Changyi was also inevitably injured by enemy shells, and in an anti-"encirclement and suppression" battle, Liu Changyi's troops fell into the cover of the enemy's dense artillery fire, and he was hit by enemy stray bullets in many places, and then he was unconscious because he was blown to the head.
Fortunately, Liu Changyi's position was quickly captured by his comrades-in-arms, and Liu Changyi was sent to the rear for treatment, at that time, the medical conditions of the Red Army were very simple, and the doctors could only treat Liu Changyi's wounds simply, and the rest could only resign themselves to fate.
The shell fragments in Liu Changyi's body were too small to be taken out slowly, this process was working in flesh and blood, and Liu Changyi in his coma screamed in pain several times unconsciously.
After a whole day of rescue, Liu Changyi lost too much blood, lay motionless on the hospital bed, comrades thought he was going to sacrifice, and was about to mourn for him, Liu Changyi suddenly woke up and sat up in pain.
Everyone thought that this was a miracle, the doctor saw That Liu Changyi was going to get out of bed, but many wounds on Liu Changyi's body were not healed and still needed to recuperate, so the doctor immediately helped Liu Changyi and let him continue to lie down, but Liu Changyi got rid of the doctor's support and loudly retorted that his battle was not finished and needed to return to the battlefield immediately.
Gradually, Liu Changyi was called "Fierce Zhang Fei" by his comrades because of his radical playing style and iron will, and Liu Changyi was proud of this and was very happy to hear his comrades call him by this nickname.
Show true temperament on the battlefield
During the War of Resistance Against Japan, Liu Changyi was appointed to the chief of staff, and he always led his troops to the forefront, during which time his old wounds recurred, and for a time the pain was unbearable, and he had to be hospitalized, but this time he still returned to the army without recovering from his wounds and immediately participated in a new battle.
At the time of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Liu Changyi served as the commander of the detachment of the Henan Military Region and did the final work of clearing the enemy, and in the eight-month-long battle, Liu Changyi led his troops to participate in more than 60 large and small battles, annihilating more than 8,000 enemy troops, so that the Central Plains region was firmly controlled by the communist troops.
After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, In order to avoid clashes with the Kuomintang troops, Liu Changyi's troops were ordered to advance westward and withdraw from western Henan, but Chiang Kai-shek did not allow the Kuomintang and the Communists to rule the world together, and he quickly tore up the peace agreement and sent troops to fight with communist troops throughout the country.
In this breakthrough campaign, Liu Changyi led three brigades to serve as the vanguard of the breakthrough and opened the gap in the enemy's encirclement for the large troops; in just three months, Liu Changyi led his troops to surprise the enemy again and again, successfully breaking through the enemy's encirclement, and laying a solid foundation for the opening up of the base area in northwest Hubei.
Since the opening of the base area, the Kuomintang army quickly regarded this base area as the main target of attack, and the northwest Hubei base area was quickly encircled by the enemy, so Liu Changyi successfully completed the breakthrough task and was regarded as a key target by the enemy army.
After learning of the enemy's situation, Liu Changyi not only did not worry about his own safety, but was happy, he said, there are always people who have to be bagged, the heavier the burden on him, the lighter the burden of other units in the military region, if he exchanges a small number of losses for the advantage of the overall situation, what is there to ask for.
Subsequently, Liu Changyi led his troops to harass the enemy army repeatedly, and when the Kuomintang troops saw Liu Changyi so bold, they all thought that there were heavy troops behind him, so they attached great importance to him, but they did not expect that Liu Changyi only came to fight with a few brigades.
The enemy was confused by Liu Changyi's move, and their battle plan was therefore quite different from the correct line, and the Kuomintang troops were also badly tempered by Liu Changyi, and the enemy rewarded him with 50,000 oceans, which shows the great contribution that Liu Changyi made to the insistence on the base area in northwest Hubei.
As the Kuomintang was gradually defeated and retreated in the War of Liberation, Liu Changyi's courage also grew, and once the enemy saw that he was about to attack him, Liu Changyi asked the officers and men around him not to be anxious, and insisted that they announce their retreat after eating.
Fighting for your country is an honor
