The soldiers of the third brigade slowly sneaked into here with the roar of the train, waiting for the opportunity, because there was only one train that night, so after the train left, these Japanese soldiers chose to go back to sleep, and in the face of such an opportunity, the soldiers certainly did not miss it.
As the soldiers of the commando launched an attack, seven Japanese soldiers soon lost their lives in their sleep, and the soldiers not only moved quickly, but also did not lose the fine traditions of the New Fourth Army, and soon swept the place away, and when they walked out of the train station gate with their captured weapons, only ten minutes had passed, which should be the fastest battle of our army during the War of Resistance.
Although in the heavy snow, the gunfire was reduced a lot, but it was still heard by the nearby Japanese troops, they immediately sent a group of twenty people to investigate, in the face of this situation, the soldiers of the New Fourth Army did not panic, if it was fifty people, they would choose to lure the enemy deeper, keep zero casualties, but in the face of a squad of only twenty people, it was natural not to destroy them.
So they hid on the spot, quietly waiting for the Arrival of the Japanese, and when they had just stepped through the gate of the railway station, the soldiers of the New Fourth Army immediately appeared, and the soldiers completed the ambush without bloodshed, and finally the soldiers returned to the stronghold with captured equipment and as many as twenty prisoners.
Although the battle was won, whether the battle could break the rumors of Lao Jiang was still a big problem, but while the soldiers were pondering, the people in charge of guarding the prisoners came with good news.
It turned out that among these prisoners, there were two "big people", who were relatives of the commander of the Japanese 21st Division, and after they were captured, the Japanese army carried out a crazy sweep of the Nianzhuang area, but unfortunately found nothing, and incidentally spread the news of the victory of the New Fourth Army in Nianzhuang.
At this time, everyone knew that the New Fourth Army not only ambushed the Nianzhuang Railway Station, but also captured the important tasks of the Japanese army at the cost of zero casualties.
On the one hand, the battle with zero casualties was very rare in the entire War of Resistance Against Japan, and on the other hand, the New Fourth Army once again embodied its anti-Japanese spirit, allowing the rumors of old Chiang Kai-shek to be destroyed.
During the War of Resistance Against Japan, the situation of the Eighth Route Army and the New Fourth Army was actually very difficult, and it is not an exaggeration to say that it is internal and external troubles; compared with the funded Nationalist army, the inferiority of our army in weapons and equipment is obvious, especially in the early days without arsenals, almost all weapons were captured.
