Some time ago, the Yasukuni Shrine incident in Japan has once again become a hot topic of concern at home and abroad, and Japan not only does not recognize all kinds of evil deeds they have committed in the war of aggression against China, but instead enshrines those murderous war criminals as heroes, which is undoubtedly another insult to the tens of millions of people of the Chinese nation.
The Chinese people should not forget the national shame and resolutely struggle against this evil force. Not long ago, Japan telegraphed to our country that it hoped that we would remove four Japanese stone statues from the Tengchong area of Yunnan, and our country put forward three conditions for this.
The root of sin
The root of everything stems from Japan's aggressive ambitions, from the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, Japan began to plot against China, and even launched the Sino-Japanese War at the end of the Qing Dynasty, but this is not the most excessive Japan has done.
After Japan found an excuse to clash with our local defenders in 1937 and then fired the first shot, Japan began a full-scale war of aggression against China. Japan fought all the way to the Nanjing area, where the heart-wrenching Nanjing Massacre occurred, killing more than 300,000 soldiers and civilians in Nanjing, and this also completely touched the bottom line of our country.
The Kuomintang and the Communists began to raise troops in the Wuhan area to engage in a decisive battle with Japan in the region. Then a war lasted for several months in the Wuhan area, and although the warring states and the Communists did not win the victory, they blocked the pace of Japan's advance and consumed more than half of Japan's combat strength.
Subsequently, Japan gained little in the next battle, and then there was a momentum of fatigue in the battle, and Japan began to adjust its battle plan.
Beginning in 1941, Japan shifted some of its operational focus to the Yunnan region of southwestern China. Japan discovered that China had supplies from the United States and launched a war to attack Pearl Harbor.
Japan not only sneaked up on the United States, but also launched wars in Thailand, Vietnam and other countries, with the purpose of blocking China's aid from the outside world.
At that time, Japan set up heavy troops in the Tengchong area of Baoshan City, Yunnan Province, and wanted to control the roads and railways here to block the logistical support of China's domestic combat troops.
Travel to Burma
China is well aware of the importance of this region, materials from the United States and other European and American countries have to pass through here, if this place is occupied by the Japanese army, there is no follow-up material support, then the situation that the Japanese army and our army are at odds with each other will be broken, so in order to win the war, China sent troops to help the Tengchong area.
After the vanguard of our army arrived, they first joined hands with friendly Anglo-Burmese troops in the Sino-Burmese border area to resist the enemy. Subsequently, our troops were handed over to the Anglo-Burmese friendly forces and the Japanese troops. Originally, under the attack of the two armies, the Japanese could not take any advantage, but the Anglo-Burmese troops were crushed by the sudden attack of the Japanese army at night and fled to other areas, leaving only our army to fight alone.
Under the cover of Japanese artillery fire, our army decided to retreat to the Tengchong area first, taking advantage of the favorable terrain to retreat and block the attack at the same time. Thus, our army began a tug-of-war that lasted for half a month.
As a result, our army began a head-on confrontation with the Japanese army in the Tengchong area, but when it came to the reinforcement time agreed with the Burmese troops, we did not wait for any news.
Our army wants to retreat, but first, after the retreat, Tengchong County behind it will definitely be occupied by the Japanese army, and the people inside will certainly be persecuted; on the other hand, the front has been bitten by the Japanese army, and it is not easy to get out of the battle.
The leader of the unit decided to hold the position here and sent someone to inform the people of Tengchong County to retreat. A few hours later, the Japanese broke through our front-line positions, and it wasn't long before there were no gunfire on the positions.
The war did not go down in history, but it was extremely tragic, and the soldiers withdrew from the battle alive in order to cover the evacuation of the common people. After the Japanese army broke through the position, it rushed into the Tengchong County area, fortunately most of the people had already withdrawn.
However, in order to vent their anger, the Japanese army searched all over the city and swept through the nearby area, and eventually more than 10,000 people were brutally killed by the Japanese army. It can be said that the Japanese army left indelible damage to the people of Tengchong here, because the Japanese army used biological and chemical weapons in Tengchong, and there are still people who have survived the pain of biochemical infection.
Three conditions
After Japan's defeat in World War II, as a defeated country, it did not admit its evil deeds, and even tried in vain to falsify history and distort this period of history in the hearts of the next generation of Japanese children.
Moreover, every year, the Prime Minister of Japan will go to the Yasukuni Shrine to pay tribute, but it is not a hero who enshrines it, but a demon who brutalized our people in the war of aggression against China. However, Japan has no attitude of repentance towards these things, which is undoubtedly a second harm to our country.
In the 1990s, Japanese businessmen came to yunnan to do business, and although our people hated the Japanese, our country treated Japan with a peaceful and developing attitude. When Japanese merchants were passing through a martyrs' cemetery, they found four kneeling stone figures in front of the martyrs' mausoleum.
The merchant took a closer look and found that it was a Japanese soldier kneeling, and the merchant felt that this was detrimental to their national image, so he asked the relevant local departments to coordinate the removal of a stone man, but the leader of the relevant department said that this was because the Japanese army had ruined its lives and committed many evils in this area, and brutally killed too many soldiers and civilians, so it set up four stone people to let the people above the heavens get comfort.
After the conversation was fruitless, the businessman returned to China and told the Japanese government, and the relevant Japanese personnel telegraphed to our country to let our country remove the four stone people. In response to this demand, the relevant leaders of our country put forward three conditions, as long as Japan promised to meet these three conditions, it could withdraw the stone people.
The first condition is that Japan must respect history and Respect China, write textbooks and educate the next generation according to historical facts, and must not tamper with the facts of aggression against China at will.
The second is that Japan must sincerely apologize to Tengchong, the Western Yunnan region, and the Chinese who suffered from Japan's harm during the invasion of China.
The third condition was that Japan must dismantle the Yasukuni Shrine and stop any act of honoring war criminals in the war of aggression against China. These are the most important conditions put forward by our country, as well as our bottom line and principles.
In the face of these three conditions, Japan does not even want to agree to any of them, and still wants to find reasons to excuse itself, but we will not pay any attention to it at all, and we will certainly not be soft on countries and forces that do not respect and harm China or the people of Chinese.
Today, we were born in the era of peace, and there is no trouble of war, but this is all bought with the lives and blood of countless heroic martyrs. Therefore, we must cherish this hard-won peace even more and never be soft-hearted towards those who have caused harm to our country.
