On the morning of January 15, a symposium entitled "International Dissemination of Sanxingdui Culture" was held in the Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences. Dozens of relevant professionals from the Sichuan Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, the Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences, the Sanxingdui Museum, the Jinsha Site Museum, the College of History and Culture of Sichuan University, the College of History and Tourism of Sichuan Normal University, the Press of Southwest Jiaotong University, and the Chengdu Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology gathered together to focus on the theme of "International Dissemination of Sanxingdui Culture". Archaeologists, historians and communication scholars break down disciplinary barriers, speak freely, and explore the paths and models of multidisciplinary interdisciplinary research, academic and practical exchanges and cooperation, providing new ideas and horizons for the international dissemination of Sanxingdui culture.

"I think that enhancing and strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the two sides, breaking the wall between professional knowledge and mass communication, and building a bridge of communication are very important topics."

Chen De'an, a researcher at the Sichuan Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, first mentioned in his speech at the symposium that he himself carefully watched the live broadcast, "At present, the live broadcast of Sanxingdui archaeological achievements in the media is very detailed and high-definition, which plays a great role in promoting the spread of Sanxingdui culture." But he also made some suggestions, when doing Samsungdui related reports and interpretations, pay attention not to guide the audience's attention to a statement that has not yet been conclusive, so as to mislead the audience, as if a statement has a professional conclusion, "It is best to make an objective and balanced introduction to the views of all parties." In this process, it takes effort to ensure that there are no mistakes. Chen De'an also mentioned the responsibility of experts and scholars, "Professional scholars themselves must first do a good job in learning, and then transform it into a language that the public can understand, and disseminate accurate information and knowledge to the public." ”
Using the form of artistic creation to spread Sanxingdui culture and expand its influence is a promising field
Huang Jianhua, who is also a researcher at the Sichuan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, also highly affirmed the media's reports on Sanxingdui, which helped form the "Sanxingdui fever" in 2021, which played a great role in the international dissemination of its cultural influence, "For some of the knowledge fallacies circulating in society, experts and scholars have the responsibility to provide accurate information to the public through their own research, through appropriate language, and through the media to replace the fallacious information." ”
Huang Jianhua also said that due to the upcoming Chengdu Universiade, the Sanxingdui culture will be hotter in 2022, "I suggest that we should speed up the collation and publication of archaeological results and organize scholars to conduct in-depth research." In addition, I strongly agree with the proposal of multidisciplinary comprehensive research on Sanxingdui proposed by scholars. Because the interpretation of Sanxingdui not only requires archaeological knowledge, but also involves a lot of history, art, ethnology, and paleography. In 2021, Huang Jianhua launched the "Legend of Ancient Shu" trilogy in Chengdu Times Publishing House - "Dream Back to Ancient Shu", "Legend of Jinsha", "Five Ding Sorrows", which was highly affirmed by Peng Bangben, Shu Dagang and others. In this regard, Huang Jianhua also believes that scholars can take the initiative to spread the Sanxingdui culture and the ancient Shu civilization from the perspective of literary works that the people like to hear, "using the form of artistic creation to spread the Sanxingdui culture and expand its influence is a promising field." Sanxingdui provides a wealth of inspiration and materials for literary creation, if professional scholars do not write, then when people who do not have enough accurate knowledge of Sanxingdui write novels in an overly entertaining way, it is easy to cause misleading to the public on some knowledge points. ”
The international spread of Sanxingdui needs more and more extensive institutions to join in
In the view of Zhu Yarong, deputy director of sanxingdui museum, Sanxingdui culture should not only go to sea and "go out", but also effectively improve the influence of "going out". She believes that there are things that are consistent with domestic communication, and there are also things that are different. To do a good job in the international dissemination of Sanxingdui: "First of all, we must systematically and multi-dimensionally sort out the cultural value of Sanxingdui. Not only historical values, but also cultural and artistic values, related philosophical values such as the relationship between man and nature, and scientific values related to craftsmanship. These common human knowledge, the aesthetic points that are easy to resonate, are expressed in a silent way. For example, movies, animations, and games are all means that can be tried. Secondly, the establishment of the discourse system of international communication in Sanxingdui is not only a matter of museums or archaeological research institutes, these professional institutions are only one of the links in the international communication discourse system. The international dissemination of Sanxingdui also needs more and more extensive institutions to join in and spread sanxingdui truly and effectively. ”

Jinsha and Sanxingdui as ancient Shu double stars, the same root and the same vein. The two go hand in hand on the road of international communication. Yao Fei, deputy director of the Sands Site Museum, shared some effective experiences of Sands in international communication. She especially mentioned that in view of the various difficulties of physical exhibitions "going out" in view of the time and space restrictions, in recent years, Sands has made full use of the construction results of the Wisdom Museum to achieve very effective results in multimedia exhibitions, 3D printing technology applications, AR/VR technology means, artistic display, linkage city marketing and other fields, so that international audiences have a more real perception and interaction with the ancient Shu civilization.
Cao Hui, vice dean of the Sichuan School of Literature and Journalism, shared her views from the perspective of professional communication. First of all, she pointed out that the external dissemination of Sanxingdui is an ongoing process. Culture +, Network +, Story + is a combination strategy, because for a wide range of overseas audiences, they are exposed to this field and this event by interest or special fate, in order to turn casual contact into interesting cognition, and then shape the community, the purpose of which is not to explore archaeology or history. For the country, we should pay attention to the young audience and professionals, we should make a distinction, pay attention to the effectiveness, knowledge, and inquiry in the target population, and should not over-pursue the scale of quantity, excessive entertainment development or tourism consumption. She also stressed that internal communication is the basis for accurate external communication. It is suggested that Sanxingdui on-site archaeological observers can be recruited to do a live broadcast of cultural relics or cultural relics once a year, but it needs to be carried out under the principle of cultural relics protection. It is possible to do sanxingdui + series of salons, form interactive activities, release some games and interesting discussion anthologies every year, which is also a suggestion for influence communication strategies before protecting cultural relics.
Finally, she mentioned that in addition to the mass media, professional institutions can be incubated or accelerated, and the communication ability and original authoritative release can be improved from the inside out. For example, Sichuan Provincial Archaeological Institutions, Sanxingdui Management Committee, Sanxingdui Expert Group, etc., can open their own social accounts or establish their own media platforms, as the first and authoritative sources, release the latest developments at appropriate time nodes, launch exclusive cultural and creative products, and produce exclusive video expansion films.
