At the CES 2022 event, AMD said that RDNA2-based graphics technology has expanded into multiple fields, in addition to hosts, PCs, Samsung mobile chips, Tesla cars and so on.
In an exchange with the media, AMD CEO Dr. Su Zifeng confirmed that in addition to Tesla Model S/X, Model 3/Y is also applying AMD-related technology products in the central control entertainment system.

Subsequently, AMD officials further explained that Tesla is using Ryzen embedded chips with RDNA2 GPU integration on the Model S/X, and has begun to batch ship Model 3/Y models with integrated Ryzen embedded chips.
According to the on-board information read by North American car owners on the new Model 3/Y, this new central control platform called MCU 3 uses a 4-core embedded chip composed of 12nm Zen+/Navi 23, replacing the old car platform Intel A3950.
In addition, other changes of the new Model 3/Y include lithium battery batteries replacing 12V lead-acid batteries, which are lighter in weight, and the replacement cycle is extended from 2 years to 4 years, as well as heating wipers, 13 speakers + subwoofer sound, etc.
