Today, AMD officially released the Ryzen™ 5000C series processor, a Chromebook notebook specifically for chrome OS systems, introducing high-performance 8-core 16 threads to chromebooks for the first time, while claiming to support all-day battery life.

In September 2020, AMD released the Ryzen 3000C and Athlon 3000C series, bringing the Zen architecture to the Chromebook for the first time, when the 14nm Zen and 12nm Zen+ cores were used, and the thermal design power consumption was unified at 15W.

In terms of performance, the official claim is that compared with the previous generation of Ryzen™ 7 3700C, the daily office performance, multi-task performance and graphics performance are increased by up to 67%, 107% and 85% respectively.

Compared with the competitor Core i7-1185G7, it is up to 7%, 25% and 10% ahead respectively.
