There are many mini-machine products, but there are a fewer based on the AMD Ryzen™ platform, and it is even rarer to use the latest Zen3 architecture.
Today, ASRock released a new generation of "4X4 BOX-5000" series minicomputer, using the Ryzen™ 5000U series processor based on 7nm process and Zen3 architecture, with optional 8-core Ryzen 7 5800U, 6-core Ryzen 5 5600U, 4-core Ryzen 3 5400U, integrated Vega GPU, thermal design power consumption of 15W.
This mini machine uses a plastic body, weighs about 1kg, measures only 117.5 × 110.0× 47.85 mm, and has a volume of less than 6.2 liters, which perfectly meets the "4×4" (inch) mini machine form mentioned in the model, and supports VESA wall mounting standards.
Thanks to the ultra-low power consumption of the overall platform, it only needs a simple small fan, the standby power consumption of the whole machine is only 6.7W, and the power supply only needs 19V/90W DC.
The memory supports two DDR4-3200 SO-DIMMs with a maximum capacity of 64GB, and the storage provides one SATA 6Gbps and one M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4.
The network is quite sincere, both Wi-Fi 6E wireless card, Bluetooth 5.2, and dual wired network cards, including Realtek RTL8125BG 2.5 Gigabit and Realtek R8111FPV Gigabit.
The interface is also very complete, the front is a USB-A 3.1, two USB-C 3.1 (support DP 1.2), a 3.5mm headphone jack, the rear two USB 2.0, a DP 1.2, an HDMI 2.0a, can support up to 4K60Hz four-screen output.
